Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards wrote about leaving a Tom Jones concert in a deep state of depression. He jealously noted that Tom's groupies were statuesque fashion models draped in couture fashions and dripping with shiny bling, a far cry from the roady blowing rocker chicks that made their way backstage at a Stones concert.

Tom can still get down 81 or not. One if his best and closest friends is Stevie Wonder who went out of his way to interrupt his gig on The Voice to Stop and Wish his bud a Happy Heart and Love filled 80th Birthday. And yes, Tom had a tear in his eye...it was beyond sweet.

Oh boy how I remember my aunties and mom geting together and watching the Tom Jones Show lol They would all gush over this guy lol he was the thing back in those days. Such good memories of those times. Yes Tom was the ladies man, married but with such a great lady who understood to a point the entertainment biz. Growing up in the 60's reminds me of the innocence we somehow lost. Such is life and we carry on. Loved the reaction and as always, Stay safe and much love !

His name is no longer just Tom Jones. A few years back the Queen of England officially made his name Sir Tom Jones. And for many year he been the head judge on The Voice UK which you can watch the past performances on KZfaq. He'll be 82 this year but just the other day he officially said that he will return to the judge seat for the 2022 season,

Saw Tom Jones 14 times in concert during his prime ... OMG that man could wail ... and the dancing ... oh , and he wasn't hard to look at either !! He was a good friends with Elvis ... they often went to each other's shows in Vegas !

I read a biography by Cassandra Peterson. She was Elvira Mistress of the Dark. She graduated from high school and moved to Las Vegas and worked as a dancer on stage. She dated Tom Jones. She said that he deflowered her and she had to go to the hospital afterwards.

All he women loved him. Andit was known that he had a HUGE you know what. My mom loved him and my dad took her to see him. I like his music too. Women at his shows threw panties & bras at him on the stage. he is iconic

I mentioned a number of months ago when you first reacted to him...he was super popular and the women LOVED him. I also mentioned that he had a reputation of women throwing their panties on stage and giving him room keys. Having said all that, he was happily married to the same woman for 50+/- years !! How are you doing as a mother...sleeping, managing and hoping you get great help from hubby ??

Those were just random women he kissed. A side note though, he was married for over 50 years until his wife passed away. Women use to throw their underwear on stage when he performed. To say he was popular with the ladies would be an understatement. He is 81 years old now and still has it. Love your channel. Hope you and your baby are doing great.

When he played Vegas, they’d their throw room keys on stage. I worked with a roadie for Neil Diamond and he said it was the same deal. They even had a special name for Diamond’s groupies, The Diamond Dogs.

If you have not seen Tom Jones and Joe Cocker duet cover of "Delta Lady" I believe its from The Tom Jones show 1970. Tom's voice is incredibly powerful in this performance and as usual Joe is awesome.

Tom helped set a trend. By the early 1970s, established artists from a wide variety of subgenres were dressing in gaudy white rhinestone outfits with capes, and in several cases kissing the ladies in the front row and getting underwear thrown at them. Elvis. Donny Osmond. Bobby Vinton. Mick Jagger (he traded in his dirty sweatshirt outfits and went upscale).

He had so much fun in this performance - it was fun seeing you vibe with it. I'm from Australia and Tom Jones admired the talents of one of our most popular singers, John Farnham. So much so, that he tried to encourage him to make it big in America. John declined and was happy playing to packed stadiums in his home country. I'd love to see you react to JOHN FARNHAM singing HELP - specifically the LIVE performance with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. I think you'd love it :)

The Tom Jones TV show ran when I was in elementary school. When I was 11-12 years old, all then girls would be talking about him in class the day after his TV show aired.

Tom was not faithful to his wife back in the day and he regrets it terribly today...he won't talk about it at all but during the days of his tv show Tom admitted sleeping with over 250 women in one year...I use to watch his show in 1969 till it ended in 1971...

Loved your reaction. Saw Tom once in concert in the 70's, Tom Jones was loved by the ladies. Women threw their undies on stage all the time and Tom always kissed plenty. lol Love seeing you young people learning these icons. Tom is still great in his 80's.

Tom got married at 16 or 17 and had their son shortly thereafter. He remained married until 2018(?) when his wife passed away, although he was not faithful to her. He never denied his infidelities and simply said he would always love his wife and it was no one’s business how things worked in his marriage. He also has an illegitimate son that he has no interest in seeing. If you get a chance, read his autobiography. It’s fabulous, especially the audio book, as it’s read by another Welshman who sounds just like him. Love your reactions!🥰

There were a lot more condenser mics used back in the day. They tend to have better frequency responses than dynamic mics but are not as roadworthy. They are often much smaller than dynamic mics as well.

My Mother and Aunts went to see Tom in concert back around 1970. I remember them talking about how the stage was littered with bras and panties that women in the crowd were stripping off and throwing on the stage! Also, keys were everywhere ...like keys to their houses or hotel rooms.

Tom kinda brushes off the subject in interviews, I thing we can all understand why, when you got it, you got it! You Have to remember. Elvis could not do moves like that, on TV. Others started moving like that, in live shows, and changed things over. Then came the Beatles, and they tried to censor the way songs were worded. Did not work there ether.

OK, I have to ask, is Schnell your real name or a stage name? If it is your real name then my minds imagination has created an amusing picture that one of your parents was of German descent and was very impatient for your birth. Either that or your delivery was easy and very fast. That image is based on the fact that schnell is German for quick/quickly. A fact that you most likely have been told hundreds of times. I can't think of another person I have herd of named Schnell, very unique.

That was NOT his wife. His wife never went on tour with him and he was one of the worst womanizers in the entertainment industry. As a matter of fact, his wife knew this and he freely admitted in interviews that she told him that as long as he came home after his tours she didn't care how many women he had while he was away. She was one hios earliest fans whop fell for him before he became a superstar and was just starting out. As long as he stayed married to her, she put up with it.
