This single episode is what skyrocketed Natsuki Hanae into popularity, his portrayal of Kaneki had so much weight, emotion, and beautiful agony, you could really see he put all his soul into this role and i hope that if they ever decide to properly remake this series they bring him back

In the manga his hair turning white wasn't so sudden, it was a slow process during weeks of torture. Also, this battle wasn't so one-sided. Kaneki had to put effort to win

It wasn't that long, in the manga he was abducted and captured by Aogiri and was held by them for 10 days including the days Yamori tortured him, I can't remember exactly how many days he spent out of those actually being tortured but the brutality of his torment was still a major deciding factor for the white hair, obviously not counting the later retcon of it just being his RC cells being suppressed psychologically

This was a "light" version of the torture, in the manga it was more intense and it was also heavily implied that Jason had also been raping Kaneki over and over again... I really hope you read the manga and react to it! (not just this scene, the entire manga) EDIT: I'm now waiting for the "half-killing" and the "Centipede" scenes xD

His hair become white is because the things this man do to him he do alot of bad thing to him in manga that didn't show in anime its was really bad😢😢😢 that's why he get trauma and his hair get white and this man doing this things to him for a long time in anime you think it's short but it's long and this is a sickness when you get a bad trauma and have alot of stress in peek of dying the hair get white because the hair cells die

Eh.... What a good story. Cruel but beautiful in her own way. and that makes it even more disgusting for me to realize that there is a second season ahead, which is more than half built on meaningless shit... This series really needs to be reworked.
