You say that sunfyre doesn't want Aegon on his back. That's funny because Aegon and his dragon are described as having the best dragon-rider relationship, even when the dragon was unable to fly due to his injured wing, he turned himself at the last moment so that he don't fall on Aegon and crush him. I blame the show writers for not showing that. We could have seen their relationship instead of depicting Aegon in a ridiculous way and including silly scenes that don’t contribute to the story.

@Savage-nv6wr aegon is closer to his dragon because he was in the cradle with him and is his sole rider. Older dragons have had many riders but let's not act like that's why aegon doesn't speak high valerian to his dragon. Its because he barely knows the language and never bothered to learn it. For example Jaec and his dragon are just as close for the same reason. First time rider. Same as Dany in original game of thrones. First time rider.

Guys she had to defend rooks rest. That’s her duty. And she wanted to weaken Vhagar somehow, if she was able to take out Vhagar it would be over. But because she and Meleys fought Sunfyre, Meleys was already injured/tired.

Rhaenys was sent by Queen Rhaenyra to protect the people of Rooks Rest in this Battle. Just because Vhagar shows up to fight it doesn't mean the Battle is over. If Rhaenys had fled back to Dragonstone, running away from the Battle and Abandoning the people of Rooks Rest, Rhaenyra's claim would be viewed as weak. Like Queen Rhaenyra runs away when things get tough. That's the simple answer for Rhaenys's suicide mission. Put even simpler, there were still people to protect. By the Queen 👑 Who *ALWAYS* Was 💔 ❤️
