I enjoy the show. It's not meant to be action heavy more of a suspense genre type of show. Maybe it's not your thing. As for your comment about (HBO) MAX. You do realize that Max consists of Hgtv, Discovery, food network and TLC. . Loads of people watch those trashy shows that they produce on top of the MAX stuff so it's a big draw. 90 day fiance alone is at least 5 spin offs - smh
