I whole heartedly give zero fucks if something is "new " or not. In fact, the older the better for me because sooooo much shit came out at once I couldn't process it or remember it all anyway, so revisiting things is great. A lot of great stuff got overlooked and lost in the all the new stuff. So yeah let's go back and take a look! Plus kristi is reviewing it so there is nothing I don't like about this!

If melt came out with multiple color themes for their stacks, or singles that fit into the stacks, it would be really cool to mix and match them to create multiple mini-palettes with different vibes. Imagine going to your make-up drawer and having the perfect color combo for your mood that day in neat little stacks. Going on a vacation? Grab a stack or two and throw them in your makeup bag. No bulky palettes to lug around.

They do have build your own stacks. Assuming they haven't gotten rid of it since the last time I was on thier website, which admittedly was probably a year or so ago.

And although not in stacks there are 100's of brands making single shadows and face products that you can move around in magnetic palettes. I have big magnetic palettes that house "everything" and then smaller ones that I uses to curate my own colour stories.

When I think back to the first foundations I used to use, in comparison to todays, the quality difference is crazy!! Definitely feel base products in particular have come on leaps and bounds! :-)

Oh bc people normalise moms taking time off work when they have a conventional job and think nothing of it. But frequently when content creators do the same some people think it is not their right or whatever... it basically depends on how long they are willing to stop creating content for, and I imagine that could be quite stressfull as opposed to having a paid leave where your employer respects and pays for your time to gather. I guess i used the quotes to show I know it is very different from a regular maternity leave

I’m sure someone has already mentioned but I use Logical Harmony when vetting whether a brand is cruelty free. Tashina (owner of LH) does a great job at it! I believe the “cruelty free” term isn’t actually regulated so essentially anyone can put that on their website or packaging, and she does the leg work of asking brands the right questions to determine whether or not they’re truly cruelty free. Huda Beauty is on her “grey area” list. Also PS your eyes are freakin STUNNING!

Totally agree. Her and leaping bunny are the only sources I trust because they are the most thorough by a landslide. I got burned enough times in the beginning by sites like ethical elephant and cruelty free kitty to learn not to use them, they can be way too lenient sometimes. Like it really bothers me how so many people in the CF community give brands like Fenty a pass despite the fact that they continue to dodge Logical Harmony and you know damn well they could afford to get certified by cruelty free international

Yes!!! I would love a smoke sessions mini stack! I've been eyeing it since it came out. I'm in love with that jade color and no one makes anything that dupes it, but buying that whole palette when I have so much makeup is unjustifiable, especially since it's $50. But a mini stack for like $35, in a heartbeat!

What's crazy about the melt stacks too is because it's powder (obviously) it can be used for so many things. That first really cool brown shade? Contour. The shimmer shade? Highlight. One of the other browns depending on your brow shade? Brow powder. Literally can do so much with a tiny product. I get your hype because I'm just as hyped and like YESSSS YOU DID THAT MELT

Kristi, I cannot begin to thank you for how much you've helped me with body image issues. I must take steroids daily because of a life threatening autoimmune disease. My body shape changed dramatically, as well as my face (ROUND). It was such a shock, but I'd much rather look like this and still be around! Whenever I start to feel self conscious, I literally repeat the things to myself that I've heard you say. I have also refused to be in pictures (which is so sad), but NO MORE!!! I’m watching this video as I’m applying my makeup and using your Pur palette as I type! It’s hands down my fave palette for the versatility and ease of blending. I personally use Logical Harmony as my cruelty free guide. Since there are so many aspects and gray areas to cruelty free, a lot of it boils down to your personal feelings, so just pick a source you trust (ie, leaping bunny, logical harmony, ethical elephant, etc)

The only lipstick I’ve ever finished is Cherries in the Snow by Revlon which is my perfect red. Otherwise I think minis are great and a good way to see if you even like the product.

It’s nice seeing you find time to give us videos and get back into your love of makeup all while still making us laugh our ass off. I loved those stacks just as much as you raved about them, it is quite genius. I finally got around to trying the pur foundation and I literally can’t stop wearing, I finally get it. I need to try the lys brand next. Loved the video!! 💜

I love seeing "older makeup" too. AHAHA the butter london part had me crackin up Kristi! 🤣 But speaking of new, the Wet n Wild tinted hydrator and the KVD Good Apple foundation are absolutely amazing. Highly recommend. Oh and the new creamy Shape Tape concealer

The good apple foundation would probably not work very well for her. Especially with her nose. She has talked about issues with stuff staying on her nose before. Good Apple is terrible for oily or combination.

After my daughter was born my anxiety multiplied times 1 million And I started picking my skin. It was how I coped with things. I was also super depressed so In a way it was like I didn’t care what I was doing to my face because I didn’t deserve to be pretty. I’m doing so much better now after four years in therapy and sobriety I am loving life!❤️💖

I’m 16 days late with a negative pregnancy test, but no period. I miscarried when I was 25 (I’m 31 now) an feel like I could never have or carry children. I don’t know what’s going on, but being pregnant is not showing up on the test. It would be the absolute world to me if I was, but the tests are usually never wrong. First an only time I got pregnant i took a test 6 weeks in when I woke up and threw up. Maybe it’s still too early? I don’t know. I don’t have health insurance (my job doesn’t offer it to part time, because I’m a caregiver for my 88 year old grandmother) so what can I do? I’m already kinda irregular, but my period always comes within 7 days an it’s been 16 with negative test. I don’t know. It breaks my heart because having a child has been my only wish in life, yet the test isn’t telling me anything but a big fat negative.

@@The_Cherokee_Gypsy I hope you're able to figure out what is going on. Sometimes they can be wrong, but there are other reasons too why women can miss periods 🤷🏽♀️ Maybe there is a clinic nearby where you can get a blood test and an ultrasound. Best wishes ♡

Yesss I love the mini melt stack. My boyfriend and I ride our Harley for overnight trips and not taking a palette, even a tiny quad, has made a huge difference. This little stack has changed my life and I love the shades. I feel like the shades were made for me!!!!!!

Regarding wearing oversize clothes, just wear it with confidence. That’s the only trick. I’m 5’1” and oversized is my go-to look.
