MATZ come from "Mad-Hyeong" means the eldest Hyung they styled it as as MATZ or matjeu in korean. This song is honestly a diss track for haters and sasaeng, if u know the context more i think it would hits you harder

3 years before I sawa live hongjoon seonghwa vlive video where wooyoung came he always before he says 99 lines members group is cool then seonghwa and hongjoon 2 as senior members made their own group name " matz " like classmates or workmates on that vlive bickering with wooyoung 😅I can't imagine they took it so serious and made team song MATZ😅
