Country music has a way of telling our life stories. Trace is really good at this story telling. I'm 56 years old, retired and living in Texas now. I have three grown daughters with families of their own now. My wife and I just returned home from 4 days at Disneyland with two of our daughters and four of our grandkids. My mind often wanders back over the years! The lyrics where the old plumber is telling the young mom captured in the midst of chaos with toddlers that she's going to miss these days rings so true! I'd give anything to be woken up in the middle of the day after working all night by the shrill screams of my 3 girls laughing and playing with their mom! It used to annoy me and now all I can think is that I was such a fool for not getting out of bed every single time to go join in on the laughter!

Time always flies by, faster than you realize in the moment. I'm up in Canada, I'm turning 45 tomorrow with two kids. I'm also living in a longterm care center due to a very aggressive illness. One thing I learned long ago is you've got to take your time, enjoy every minute for what it is, and love your loved ones hard! Because you will miss those times that seemed so difficult. Love them hard.

My father use to say to me! " Enjoy this time because someday you'll look back and realize that these were the best days of your life... This song really hit home to me as I'm almost 62 yrs old now and I don't know where the year's have gone and Dad was right.. Miss you Dad! ❤️

This song always touches my heart and brings a tear to my eye. My baby is 35 and wow did it all go by so fast!!! When she graduated from college I moved to a small town about an hour away from where we lived. She decided to move with me. While living there she never gave me an indication of liking or disliking it. Shortly after she got married I left that house. Not that long ago she told me how much she loved living there and how much she missed that house. Totally took me by surprise!

Trace Adkins is a very kind and generous person who just this past weekend gave a free concert in our Tornado stricken town of Mayfield Ky which was devastated and destroyed on December 10, 2021. an EF4 tornado left 24 people dead and at least 200 people injured in Graves County Kentucky, according to the National Weather Service. Trace stopped here to help raise money and bring awareness as our people work and struggle to rebuild, on his " Somewhere in America Tour". Yes were gonna miss this but we will rise up better than ever.

I'm 21 (about to turn 22 on March 30th) and I've been out of school for about 3 1/2 years now and I still miss and I wish those days hadn't gone by so fast... I wish I could wake up at 6 a.m. tomorrow and go to school and see my friends and play in the band as well as do a couple of other things again or that I never got to do at all...but then I'm gonna wake up tomorrow and realize that I don't have to go to school anymore and days are just gonna be one giant question mark of what I'm going to do...
