OMG WHAT ARE THE RULES AT CITI FIELD?!

I just want things to be consistent. Is that asking for too much? If you're enforcing a rule for fans in one section, then it should apply to fans in the next section. Right? And if it's not safe for fans to be in the seats because of lightning, then how is it safe for players to be on the field? But then again, who cares if the opposing team gets zapped? Typical attitude for Mets fans, haha. (Oh relax, I'm a native New Yorker and grew up as a Mets fan so I'm allowed to talk smack.)
The ushers and security guards at Citi Field have been very friendly lately, but this was chaotic and a bunch of people were confused and annoyed, but ultimately no harm was done. Baseballs were snagged and no one got hurt and as for the balls, I got an extra special one: NUMBER 12345.
Meanwhile WTF has been going on with the weather lately? I guess that makes things interesting here on KZfaq but it can really be a pain in person.

yes Zack, that looked like Kyle Neslon and of course the one before was Miguel Castro.. it's nice to see Castro being so cool with the fans.. here in Phoenix, we don't see that enough because we can't get in during Dbacks warm up or batting practice- the mets sure had the dbacks number in that series.. luckily we have bounced back

Thanks! I wasn't sure at the time but when I got home and watched the video clips of Nelson on the field before the game, then I was pretty sure. Sucks about entry times at Chase Field. That's a massive problem throughout MLB.

Great vid as always Z! I notice MLB is getting stricter and stricter, especially over the last few years. Seems like they’re becoming “anti-ball hawk” in every way possible. It’s getting to the point where all these regulations are bleeding into the Minors (which I hate). But, all we can do is make the most of it. (Edit: my bad if this same comment sent like 3 times, it was sent whilst being in school with terrible internet 😅)

I've been to NY 1 time and Yankees Stadium only once for the HipHop 50 Anniversary concert, which was Epic. Is it me or is Citi Field a much better looking stadium than Yankees Stadium. YANKEES stadium concourses reminded me of University Of Houston TDEC Stadium.. is it me???

I work at Yankee Stadium and worked that event. It was wild. Even though I despise the Yankees, which makes me a little biased , I definitely think Citi Field is nicer.
