I hope part 2 is just as long or longer! I have a couple of these and will definitely look into a few others that sounded great(minus the sci-fi one lol) I get a feeling that Si Spurrier will show up more in part 2. I'm still trying to find The Spire tpb! Thanks again and I'll be on the lookout for part DOS!

This was awesome - and I’d heard of almost none of them so lots to get a hold off. Thanks for focusing on some of the lesser known titles. The obvious ones often mentioned are Sandman, Lucifer, Fables and Bone which I assume most people know about. Would also suggest The Complete Moonshadow

Oh Jess, my "to read" list is already too long :D Well, I guess I'll have to get some of these books anyway. By the way, I suppose you have read Berserker Unbound by Jeff Lemire, right? It's one of the better modern sword & sorcery comics.
