God desires that no one should perish but that all would come to repentance. So He sent Jesus, Who is the eternal Word of God, into His own creation to save us from the penalty of sin(which is death). Jesus lived a perfect life, then He died in our place so that we wouldn’t have to pay the price for breaking God’s law(which is sin). Then He rose from the dead 3 days later, conquering sin and death. If you believe that Jesus did this for you, then have received eternal life as a gift and the Holy Spirit as your Wonderful Counselor and gracious Comforter from God Himself, amen.
