When you found out about this game literally just now so you don't have to wait as long as other people

It’s funny how little context the trailer explains. All you see are random characters and places of course, you see that dark lightbulb, you see fractions of both the dream AND real worlds, you see other characters like aubrey, kel, hero and basil (both in the dream and real worlds), and a bit of what looks like mari's body. and you see some texts that describe how sunny would always want to be dreaming. but seriously, it just doesn't explain a lot of what the main story is about.

Honestly, i love the fact that this song is how it started and how it ended. It got people excited for being the first trailer, but also played at arguably one of the saddest moments in the game

i just want to say, omori has a special place in my heart. Not only its a game that perfectly encapsulates how grief, loss and trauam is so complex but it also was the first indie rpg my boyfriend introduced to me out of the blue. I still remember when i would sit in my room watching gameplays of this masterpiece as i could not be able to play it by myself, I got to see everything in it. Everynight I would go and message him and ask him so many questions as he knew the game better than i did, the shift of headspace to the real world, getting over fears, there was so much I would constantly ask him. When it got to the truth, I was shocked. Its a game thats still apart of my memory and one of the earliest I will always cherish with that era of time where he and I fell for eachother and would talk endlessly about omori and well, so much other stuff. I still get videos of this lovely game every now and then, it will always hold a special place in my heart.

This game is so incredible. I remember when I was playing through it, I kept having to stop and wait months to get the courage and strength to continue. The well-being of some of the characters had me so afraid... I love Basil. I love him so much. I was so afraid for him. This game is amazing.

Truly, the most iconic part of this trailer is the birthday cake part, since time will pass on and no one can do anything about it to stop it. It really gives more feelings than what you can feel. Omori really gives off the feeling of being cut off from people who you love just because of an accident that you made and because of most of the time, life is filled with grief of people who've you have lost due to accidents that's you've made in the past.

something I love about the old trailer is that there's this very strong sense of "this is colorful and happy but there's something about it that feels deeply wrong" and that embodies the actual game perfectly.

Last summer i used to come back at this trailer right here so often, i didn't even know what the game was really about, i just loved the energy and the quality of the production, this trailer is insane. Eventually i started learning about OMORI more and more until i got obsessed with it, watching playthroughs while eating, trying to get my friends into it (which failed), stuff like that, y'know what that's like? Then... on my birthday, my friends gifted me Steam cards and i did actually get the game (thank you so much) but never really played it due to school and stuff taking my time to the point i even FORGOT i had it. I rediscovered this trailer today, and i started remembering at how better things were back then, last summer... no thoughts, no fights, no unjustified sadness... the reality around me has become quite harsh. Now that there's no school and homework stopping me, time to make myself a gift and enjoy this game, just, uhhhh, about a year late. Also 1:00 Kel goddamnit you don't throw the ball like that

I love how OMOCAT did an anti yandere dev and actually spent the many years on this game making it a perfection and not reaping patreon money to use on useless trinkets. Like obviously they bought stuff for themself, but that’s most likely after the game came out.

I JUST finished the game and now I wanna learn more of it. This was such a great experience and I honeslty wish I got into it sooner, I can see why so many people were waiting for this to come out. Came for the aesthetic and themes of the game, left with tears in my eyes. This was just fantastic.

Just realized, the name "Omori" is derived from the Japanese term Hikikomori which refers to individuals who isolate themselves (at home) away from society. this really tells a lot about Omori as a character...

I remember i was looking at this trailer evertime before i sleep because it was my favorite i really waited for this game after 2 years i forget about it but when i saw 2020 trailer came i comeback for the good old days and finally got this beautiful game am happy i met omori in my childhood and played the game i never get tired of it it's relatable to my life omori forever got special place in my heart and soul thank you too omocat ♡

The way Omori tackles real life elements of depression and suicidal and suffering in silence is really just amazing to me and I’ve been pretty obsessed with this game for month now and ever since I heard the playlist on Spotify I knew I had to see what this game was all about I’ve heard it can be really dark and traumatic for some people but that just made me more interested to see what the “psychological element “ of the game was because the only games that I’ve played is undertale splatoon and cod and I loved undertale so I thought I would love this “turns out I love this game more then the funny skeleton “ this song has been stuck in my head for years and I just found out what if came from and begged my dad to let me get it thankfully he’s a cool dad and doesn’t mind me being traumatized but I have my own trauma and this game is just amazing and who ever reads this I just hope you have played it or can play it it’s not for everyone but it’s really good

What a great message this game has. Definitely one of THE games where after you play, you appreciate life more. I havent experienced death in the family yet, (Instead ive had near death experiences haha) but when the day eventually comes, I'll make sure to honor their memory and make good decisions in my life to end up living a long, happy life like they have. In the meantime, dont think about it too much, just enjoy those moments, theres nothing we can do, but we can still make new memories as long as it can last :)

Most anxiety inducing and heartbreaking game I have ever played 10/10

While playing this game, I experienced the whole emotional spectrum. Curiosity, sense of being lost, psychedelic vibes, boredom, nostalgia, happiness, annoyance, fun, and, of course, fright, misery, sorrow, despair, sense of loss, existential crisis and dread, suicidal tendencies. AND ALL OF THIS WAS IN THE PROLOGUE.

I'm still going thru my post Parden depression with this game but what an incredible experience! I really wish for more added content for the ending or maybe a part 2 it. It would be very interesting to see the friend's point of view.

I want this to be popular yet I also want it to be a hidden little gem for the fandom to know only.

I told myself I wouldn’t comment until the game was out so now I’m here marking my place.

This trailer made me obsessed with the song back in 2017 but also hyped me up about the game as it got me interested. 3 years later the game released. Couldn't play it at first. In 2022 I played the game on xbox gamepass but after failing to beat ex boyfriend (since I didn't understand the game's mechanics) I stopped playing and my gamepass eventually ran out. 2024, I remember about the game and got it on the switch as it felt like the best way to play it. I understand the game mechanics easily this time and went on with my adventure. I was following the sunny route for my first playthrough and I just loved the game a lot. When I finished the game (after crying from final duet) I took some time to understand the whole masterpiece I just went through and how impact full its messages are. The game is about depression, suicide, solitude but also about friendship, acceptance, love and FORGIVENESS. Thank you omocat. Thank you so much for making this experience. The hikikomori route and all the endings are also depicted beautifully but the true ending really feels like it was meant to be the canon one and also the most meaningful of them all.
