hey paul, couple of things: 1. if you have standing passengers in the bus the legal limit of the bus is then 60 km/h if not the limit is 80 km/h. 2. if you are waiting in front of an bus light (the traffic light for busses) you need to see an A on top of the light, it means anzeige (which means that you have requested the light to go green) or else the light won't turn green. 3. when in front of any traffic light or when not at a station DO NOT activate the station brake or else the passengers disembark the bus, instead put the parking brake on.

The lady having a longer monologue to get a ticket than you during a lets play (jk) basically says: "I'm going to drive around in the bus all day long, so I'll need a ticket that supports that. I think you call them a day fair. Yeah day fair, I'll have one of those." What's even more ridicoulus is that she asked for one at like 6.30pm xD What a waste of money! lol!

:P my career when I'm older is a bus driver, this game is really inspiring me!

-The drivers light automatically lights up as soon as you open the doors. You don't have to turn it up manually. -The vipers have an intermittent mode, as this bus was made in the early '90s. -What's with that "Fear of the dark" in every single game at night? I can see everything perfectly fine. In fact this is way brighter than what you can see in real life at night. And the normal light of the bus is simulated correctly. The only reason,. the main beam is in the game, because it's a simulator that wants to simulate everything like it is in real life. Plus, you can flash the AI traffic in certain situations.

I love how quick the steering wheel spins! I`ve driven buses like this and, trust me, it doesn`t!

6:09 exactly what they officially do in Zurich on line 32 between Helvetiaplatz and Militär/Langstrasse, because there are huge traffic jams there the busses share their bus lane for both directions and wait at the other stop for each other like trains.

Hi Squirrel! First: Nice video, its realy enjoyable. Just a hint: If you leave the route on 01 and the display in the front shows "Flughafen" you got a wrong routing loaded and therefore might have different station announcements. You actually can try other routes. it should be: Linie Course: 20200 (which means line) Route: 01/02/03/04 and so on depending on the shedule you took you have to choose the correct routing.(line202 is available in different lenth and different destinations) there is a document which tells you which route to use for which destination. You can also find this in the .hof file (Ebstein.hof in this case) in Omsi/vehicles/MAN202 This will also show the correct destination in the front outside display so you don't have to set it manually using the menu. I hope this might help you. Enjoy your tours with Omsi!!!

I just recently came across your videos, and I think I just found my new favorite channel on KZfaq. Wonderful stuff, especially the euro truck simulator vids. My father is a truck driver here in Norway, and currently drives a Scania R730. I'm going with him on trips as often as I can, love the sceneries while driving over the mountains towards Bergen. @11:30 (approx.) Why would you want the drivers light to turn on every time you stop the bus? Usually the light turns on as soon as you open the doors, which seems sufficient to me. If the light turns on when you're waiting at a stoplight you might be blinded enough to not even be able to see the light.

if no one has translated it, Ziel = End, Goal, Destination. it all depends on the context of the conversation you're having. (as for translating most German language into English.) there are certain german words that can be translated into dozens of english words for the same thing hence Ziel is for End or Goal, or Destination.

Squirrel, on the ibis (dreaded machine) you enter the linien correctly but then you are supposed to try out different 'route' like 02,03, etc. then the destinations will change and you will find the correct one. or there should be a paper somewhere in the bus that says all the 'linien' and 'route' stuff. after you get that correctly, and then when leaving a station you press the 'q' button and the station displayed on the ibis is switched to the next station and if the map has announcements, it will say some thing like the next station is 'squirrelhof' or something. Hope this helps.

Isn't it quite hard to play a game which doesn't even offer an English translation? I guess most of it is in German. Funny to see you play it though :) This game is freaking realistic, all these buttons and you can even open the window. I really had to laugh when I saw this. PS: "take a seat" is "Setzen Sie sich" Malermeister = Painting "master" (foreman) edit: okay nevermind, I didn't see the (very basic) translation in the top left.
