Back on Bowdenham v4 in OMSI 2 today we take a nice return ride on Apsley's Park & Ride service on Line 400, driving the MB O530 G on a wet soggy evening.

There used to be a bus route in the suburbs where I live that went to a park & ride in a small parking lot as part of its route. That was changed over 5 years ago to not do that anymore.

Hi. The Park and Ride around Canterbury in Kent is excellent - the city is always busy, especially in the tourist season, and there are three Park and Ride termini situated on the three main roads into the city with spacious car parks attached. The service is very efficient, making full use of bus lanes throughout. Parking in the city centre is both difficult and expensive so the Park and Ride service provides a really efficient and economical service to use. Keep up the good work! Regards, Dave, Kent

I have used the park and ride in Maidstone may times. It is a great service! The buses run every 20 minute from 6am until 7pm on Mondays to Saturday's. The buses are 14 years old but they are workhorses and in the past 2 years have been referbished. It has been changed since I have last used it, before you payed for the bus fare now you pay for parking. I love park and rides!

In Belfast, they're currently building the Belfast Rapid Transit System (BRTS) which is pretty much a park and ride service. They've deticated one of the lanes on a dual carriageway to buses only which should be very handy cause you'll get into the town centre very quickly

Great Vid! I use the maidstone park and ride quite a lot. Only once had a bad experience where there was extremely heavy traffic and I had to wait an hour in the car but only 10 mins on the way back.However the journey back took twice as long as usual. Overall, arriva (who run the park and ride) have done a good job.

Sometimes I use a Park and Ride (P+R in Dutch). For €4,- I can park and I received a dayticket for The Hague transport (bus and tram). All the big citys in Holland use a Park and Ride concept.

I used the park and ride when I went to Sunderland air show to get me back to the bus station to get my bus home, up in Newcastle they have park and ride buses for football matches as well and different events

In New York City We have park and rides outside the city where ppl take city operated commuter coach buses to the city they are mostly used during the weekdays during rush hour only tho very people use if off peak Anyway ur second trip reminds me of a story In new york students are allowed to go to school anywhere in the city instead of the rest of your country where students are forced to go to their nearest school so my school is pretty far from where I live and to get home sometime I take a Commuter bus and since most people take is during rush hour and I don't sometimes I get the whole bus to myself and the bus driver just drops me off at my house instead of going along the route

I Bucharest its the same problem. Car parks ar filled to the brim, so you have the bus and put your car somewhere at the capitals boarder. The gouverment of Romania wants bus-only in Bucharest because of car parks and traffic. In Bucharest, the Park and Ride service is good, on time 96 per cent of the time. This was an example.

It is very good park and ride. I use the maidstone one and you park in a field and it just takes you on a small drive to the town centre. Doesn't cost too much either

in northern Ireland our park and rides are brilliant they're every 10 mins we have north side park and ride east side park and ride west side park and ride and south side park and ride we use double deckers and optare solos

My experience was bad you always had two buses tailing each other. They should be one every 5 minutes. Literally 10 buses pulled up at the same time and I was waiting for 50 minutes by the time they got there we could have walked home!

I don't know if its considered a park and ride, but when I take the train, I park my car at the station and leave it there to go to Toronto, so I don't have to deal with traffic.

I go on the Ipswich park and ride and it's terrible as a bus company called Ipswich busses operate if and the price is so expensive for a small 3 - 5 m I miles drive! In our area first own lots of the routes so I don't know why they can't own it!
