Amrit Gurung, a poet, musician, and vocalist by trade, is also a photographer, painter, and avid traveler. He is a founding member of Nepal's most popular folk-rock band, "Nepathya." With his band, the guy who walked across 76 of Nepal's 77 districts gave us numerous songs and anthems such as 'Chekyo Chekyo,' 'Resham,' 'Rato Ra Chandra Surya,' 'Gau Gau Bata Utha,' and many more. In this episode of On Air, we meet the legend himself and discuss Jomsom Bazar Ma, the band's unintentional song, his love for photography, his first guitar, the tale of Resham & Taal Ko Pani, his outlook on life, and his journey thus far.

Dear Sanjay I have a humble request please could you please adjust your sound with the add whenever add comes out i had to lower the volume.. add ko volume is too high and yours are too low and also your podcasts video is 2 hour long but with the add its 2 and half hour why add in every 10 mins.. i know you dont listen the full podcasts by your self after you do finish the podcast but please consider.. like me i am a driver so its very dangerous to adjust the volume or skip add all the time while driving .. regards podcasts listener ..

The front man of nepathya Amrit dai is not only a grt singer, he is a grt leader as well who led nepathya this far devoting his life for music. I’ve always been a big fan of Amrit dai. Thr r so many life lesson we can learn from him. First one being uncompromising - live your life in your own terms. His simplicity is another that I look up to. Couldn’t met him while he came to NZ in person. But attending his concert in Auckland was great privilege. Thank you Sanjay bro for inviting him. It was absolute pleasure listening him🙏
