That's when we come face to face with the fact that we are not as patient, kind, compassionate and non judgemental as we thought...! X

Been struggling with a few of my year 9 students. Little did I know that our classroom run-ins were all inside jobs Thank you, Adya; it's good to see where my actual struggles lie. Tasting the play underpinning life’s dramas.

There are times I react to a challenge and realize immediately and know I haven't I havent realized, there are other times where I want to respond but stop myself. My life has fallen apart completely and feel like Im losing everything and in such situations I find it hard to respond from a space of understanding

It is so important not to identify with your thoughts. The ego mind wants you to feel guilty , fearful, useless, lacking , etc. It is the only way it can get you to identify with its insanity. God made you perfect, whole, and invulnerable Have faith in only this, and you will be fine.

I agree Adya life can feel like Castaneda sometimes, at the end of the day we are all petty tyrants of our lives

Adyashanti, this might be true when you are younger. Now tired of all, having no energy at almost 82. All i want is silence around me and doing my own stuff, like a little bit of gardening and such.🌈

My favourite Castenada quote - that relates perfectly to what Adya is saying here is; 'one of life's high arts is knowing when to throw the towel in'.........

Testing is important to stabilize in the understanding. In natural dyeing of cloth it is necessary to fade it in the direct sunlight to make the color fast.

Does awakening change your beliefs or more so enable you to observe your own patterning without reacting? My conditioned mind is quite judgemental but im conscious that this is what the mind does and so don’t necessarily take it too seriously. Often wonder if those who are enlightened still have the judgmental mind but are just separate from it, or are they a completely different person after?

in my own experience the mind does tend to calm down the further you go but its not something you can force it just comes from observing without reacting/without identifying with the thoughts. I actively try to let go of beliefs when I feel them and stop believing them, always feels free-er after

@twills, if beliefs are True, one doesn’t need beliefs. If you don’t know if your beliefs are true, remain skeptical or agnostic. Discarding all beliefs, faith, wishful thinking, and woo-woo is liberating.

Problem is no one ever explains what awakening IS. It's an energetic shift where the body instead of being attuned to the energies of the conditioned responses you learned growing up.....starts calibrating to the energies of your higher self....which is a subtler, more blissful, peaceful, lovnig being....etc....... So does it change your beliefs? Ultimately there are no beliefs, even at the conditioned level.....we just store emotional reactions to things and put words on it "women are bad!"....that's not a belief...does enlightement change that? Yes, insofar as when you ARE calibrating to those higher energies it gets HARDER to keep energies in your body that are in resistance to ANYTHING......so anything on Earth....in your every day life,, in the world. Because the higher self's prespective....your core enegertic essence pre conditioned mind.....is all inclusive. So beliefs are changed indirectly....as your emotional responses to things HAVE to change (altough there's infinite energetic permutations and ways of doing so) to accomodate for this state of greater harmony with the world. There NEVER was an "enlightenment" as a state that we all reach that is exactly the same for all souls. There is a state of flow....when you are more embodying this higher self....I guess we could call that enlightenment......but it doesn't necessarilly ....throw away all judgemental aspects we have inside our psyche.........because the TRUTH is....on some level.....some of those aspcets are STILL needed by us as humans to set boundaries...to be effective humans etc. But maybe you judge them less and seethem from a different light that allows you to craete less energetic resistance to them as energy patterns inside your mind. It's ALL physics. It's not woo woo or magical or mysterious. But of coursre....when our teachers keep talking about enlightenment in those terms......it seeps into the collective consciousness. It's really just operating at life like a kinder self.......more peaceful self......feeling less inner fights.....pick your most at-peace moment in life.....most harmonious with life.....and analzye.....where were your strong judgemental beliefs then? Like, really put it in your own words with your own understnading. This stuff is easy to understand.....we just have to drop all the narratives that come from having spiritual information delivered to us by teachers like Adya and others.....which are ALL putting their own personal bias into what embodying one's soul energy is like. Just like Jesus' words wouldnt be enough to help you understand things in 2024.....so too area these descriptions of current teachers constantly becoming outdated..........they are just ONE man/woman's experience.

@@cps_Zen_Run Can you expand on this a little? “Letting go of all beliefs, faith, woo woo is liberating”. Would I be right in saying you’re implying letting go of all of these things as concepts of the mind? In my experience having faith means letting go of control which often leads to the experience of peace, love, oneness. Which again are just words describing an experience but aren’t actually the experience itself which the mind likes to attach to.

Having faith and letting go of "illusion of control" doesn't always lead to peaceful happy life. My life has been ABSOLUTE CHAOS for the last 10 yrs. 🤯 My mind loves to use these insane happenings as an excuse to take over...again and again and again.🥴 It has been the greatest challenges of 60 years to operate from loving awareness as much as possible. 🙏❤
