1. What are the duties of a TA?? 2. Regarding internships, can we do this internship only on vacations, or anytime during the sem?

Sumedh Sen 1. TA = teaching assistant. This typically means helping teach a class, lecture or lab. You are assisting a main professor. Most likely you would be teaching undergrad students. 2. CPT internships are eligible after completing two semesters. You can do it during the summer break, or during a fall/spring semester as well.

I really loved the vibe of this video! Is it true that it's more competitive to get an on-campus job for an intl' undergrad student? I've heard that recruiters don't entertain undergrads a lot, especially freshmen.

Thanks! On campus jobs are kinda the same, whether undergrad or masters. There are opportunities for undergrad as well.

Hi, great content! I'd like to know what kind of experience is expected from students to get an on campus job ( especially TA)

Balla Samhitha thanks! Some on campus jobs don’t require any experience, what’s more important is the referral or connection from somebody already doing that job. For TA, each college is different. I’m sure you will at least need a good grade from when you took the class before. And maybe some upper level class work with the professor or department so they feel comfortable with you teaching younger students.
