On-Court Performance: Nisplay L1 Basic Drills with @janxotennis

In this video, we travelled to Singapore with our Nisplay L1 Tennis Ball Machine to meet with Jan @janxotennis, former NCAA D1 tennis athlete now tennis coach based in Singapore.
Together we spent time on court to test and demonstrate various practice modes and basic drills of L1 ball machine. It is a great assistance for polishing baseline strokes, quick-reflex volleys, mastering the overhead smash, even a 'Ball Boy Mode' for serve practice. The Nisplay L1 provides not only these essential drills, but also opens the gate for endless creative opportunities for you to explore and create your own drills and practice routines.

Very nice little ball machine. So compact. Can see some very useful drills being created in addition to what he's doing. Nice court btw, where is it?

too bad I bought the nisplay N2 just a few weeks back :-( . I am however delighted with the N1 that by the way is still very portable and has more power. So not exactly same product positioning.

That's not a problem - problem with a one wheel design that you can't control speed and top spin separately (same as Slinger ball machine). Slinger produces extremely unnatural spin on high speed settings. Thats' why I returned Slinger quickly after trying it. But it depends on your goals. If you a single player who needs a help with feeding soft balls and work on your strokes foundations (generating own pace, spin , control) - then it may be a great choice for that price. I need a ball machine with natural and different spins and movement drills to work with my daugther - Proton or other two wheel machines are the better choice then.

I mean, I would expect a $1700 machine to outclass one that's being sold for roughly $500. You're kind of missing the point, though. The main draw of this device is that it's as amazingly compact as the Proton (smaller and lighter, actually), has a similar feature set to that of the Slinger (which is much larger and heavier), and yet is considerably cheaper than both (especially the Proton, which is several-times more expensive).
