Any chance of showing either Samantha Barks or Lea Salonga performing this song?

💫✨🌟Hello JohnWright. You're right, but as difficult as it is to make a bit of room for the young, the fresh ones, those who still have such big dreams, you just have to give them a chance too. I know how difficult that is when you're so attached to certain combinations of song and singer. For me it's always 'LesMiz', the song 'Stars' and my heart is so attached to the interpretation of 'Philip Quast' - from 'The Dreamcast, 8.10.1995 - Royal Albert Hall', in my ears no one has ever topped it. Many were good, some very good, but they are no *Philip Quast* .... But I tried very hard not to notice the differences to *PQ* in other interpretations and to pick on them, but rather the 'different design' - you certainly understand what I mean. Lea Salonga has an absolutely brilliant level with this song in the above-mentioned concert musical and she was so incredibly young and her youth combined wonderfully with this performance as unique and fantastic. Her "Miss Saigon: The last Night of the World" with Simon Bowman - unmatchable. I heard this song by "Michael Ball & Ruthie Henshall" together just yesterday. Each of them is a master of their craft, but not together on this song. This song "simply" belongs only to Lea & Simon. I love Ruthie's voice especially. It's rare to find someone with her mezzo-soprano who is also so incredibly flexible and her "Fantine" in the ...1995 version is simply incredible. The same goes for Michael Ball, but even his "Stars" is not the one I fell hopelessly in love with from *PQ* *and I really mean it: RESPONDLESSLY*. It's a kind of "Bittersweet Symphony" of new faces and beautiful, fresh voices with these songs that you love so much that you could actually "spell them😉" from start to finish (no joke, I can sing along to Les Miz from start to finish and the Phantom is the very best - so 3/4 of the musical). They are also my two favorites. Wonderful and without a "happy ending" - I don't like happy endings, ??? but everyone needs a crack🤔😅! This You have to first associate songs with the new faces and voices. Certain accents that are different from the ***original*** and that I initially found disharmonious and not nice will eventually soften your ear and your heart. But it certainly takes incredible courage for 'someone new - without a (famous) name but with a wonderful voice' - to venture out of the shadow of a *one and only* and into the stage light. For this reason, these artists have my utmost respect. I hope John, I was able to leave something here that you feel in a similar way. Greetings to you...💫✨🌟 (please excuse my bad English, I'm from Germany)

With all due respect.... all other singers (outside of Lea) have a large handicap of being compared to Lea! This singer does a good job with this song, but.... the best will always go to Lea! She sang with so much emotion in addition to her fantastic voice. Hands down, Lea will always be the best with this song!
