La meilleure chose de cette année a été de faire connaissance avec vous Etoiles et votre communauté et je tiens à vous dire que cette année j'ai décidé d'apprendre plus de français, j'aime votre langue et j'apprends (désolé, il y avait beaucoup de texte) Bonne année Etoiles et toute votre communauté, je vous aime beaucoup, salutations du Mexique 🇲🇽🇨🇵 ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

I will always be forever grateful to the Qsmp for allowing me to discover Etoiles. Before Qsmp begun, I mainly watched Philza and Technoblade. Phil was my go to for chilling, distractions, occasional chaos and silly bits. Techno was (and still is) one of THE FUNNIEST people I have ever watched, with his witty, sarcastic, and self-deprecating humor. Techno was absolutely cracked at Minecraft pvp, and at almost every game he played even though he was humble about it. He was very genuine and wholesome though he attempted to hide it. He was smart, strategic, and deep. Technoblade is one of my absolute favorite content creators because of all of this and so much more. (Warning; about to get emotional) Even when he was diagnosed with cancer, I wasn’t as concerned because he was Technoblade. He made it seem like some little thing that hardly even mattered. Which is why on June 30th, 2022, when he uploaded a video announcing his end with his duel with cancer, it hit even harder. Words cannot EVEN BEGIN to express the sheer amount of grief and pain, and just everything, I still feel to this day. Besides Techno’s old videos, I pretty much only watched Philza after that. Phil kept me going, but it was still really hard. I only started watching and really getting into the Qsmp because of Philza getting invited. Even though I started watching a lot of new creators in the first and second month of Qsmp, I still mainly watched Phil. Well, that is, until I had my first couple impressions of Etoiles. I remember my first real impression of Etoiles was when I was watching one of Phil’s Qsmp streams, and he was doing Lucky Ducks with Chayanne, Tallulah, and Fit (I think?) Phil went outside to kill a mob that had escaped, and Etoiles was there. I don’t remember exactly how, but Etoiles ended up showing off his gear and tools/weapons, and asked to see what Phil’s was like. Phil is not very accustomed to modded minecraft, so he had a Sharpness V diamond axe (which is good for vanilla minecraft, not so much for modded though). Etoiles said something like “auughh- how can your viewers not be throwing up seeing that axe?” and proceeded to roast Phil even more MDR. Then later on in that stream they went dungeon hunting together which was SICK :D This was my first time really seeing Etoiles, and I instantly liked him a lot. I began to start watching his streams and other content, and from that point on I only started to watch him more and more. His jokes, analogies, phrases, and excuses were hilarious. Him saying something then using “ahhh im sorry! English is not my first language!” as an excuse, Phil giving Etoiles a stack of iron blocks and Etoiles saying “oooh big boy!”, Etoiles only having 8 bullets left in one of his first times playing Valo with Foolish and Rae and others, and saying “I only need one” then proceeding to completely miss, him saying “If im positive, im too positive. If I’m negative, im too negative. I guess I’ll go fuck myself then!”, him always reassuring and hyping up his friends with things like “YOU’RE THE BEST!” and “REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE” and “A SMILE IS YOUR STRONGEST WEAPON” along with so many more moments (Etoiles bantering with Roier in Purgatory was brilliant as well mdr). I consider Etoiles as funny as Technoblade, and that’s saying a lot. Etoiles’s positivity, skill for minecraft and pvp, his knowledge, his humility, etc reminded me of Techno in a good way. Etoiles made it so when I think of Techno, it’s not all negativity. He taught me to let go a little, and lifted a lot of the weight of grief off of my shoulders. Etoiles also helped me rediscover my love for combat scenes/ hype things with his code monster fights and lore, which I had forgotten whilst dealing with grief, among other things. His lore is one of my favorites on the entire server, it’s SO GOOD! I started listening to a lot of sick music because of him, and I found the song Legends Never Die (which I had surprisingly never listened to before). And I now associate that song with Technoblade and Etoiles :D I started really loving super smash bros after seeing Etoiles play it, and now I’m trying to get better at it myself! I learned the tiniest amount of French from him (which is mostly swears MDR) and want to learn more in the future! I may be a relatively new fan, but I’m so indescribably happy that I started watching Etoiles this year. He never fails to make me totally die of laughter, or smile, even when depression has me down and I’m really struggling with life and just simply existing. You make me hopeful for what the future may hold, and help me believe that things will eventually get better. Etoiles, please always remember that genuinely, you are the best. The absolute GOAT. LA LÉGENDE!!!! Merci BEAUCOUP for being your AMAZING self and making my year along with everyone else’s incredible. Here’s to 2024, and hopefully many years to come. 2023, l'année ou notre Etoiles préféré est devenu un vrai streamer (musée) à l'internationale. On a hate de voir ce que 2024 nous réserve; on est qu'en Février et le boug a déjà reçu un award pour le meilleur streamer jeu de combat.

Je t'ai redécouvert cette année et franchement j'aime beaucoup trop ta vibe 🌟 Bonne année 2024 !
