I’ve never heard someone refer to this time of year as “ the nights are getting longer.” Most people are complaining that the days are getting shorter. I appreciate the fact that you see it differently. 🥰 Fall in my favorite time of year! The long, hot humid days of summer are, for the most part, gone. I loved summer as a child but now that I’m older, I look forward to this time of slowing down, canning the last of the garden, leaving the windows open and waking up to cool mornings. It’s a blessing to live where there is fall. Every year I pull out my wooden bowl and pick up items that remind me of this special time…tiny pine cones, bird feathers, pieces of unique bark, a stone or two,a small piece of unique moss and always a handful of assorted acorns and hickory nuts. Thank you for reminding us to enjoy this too brief season. 🍁🫖🌻🍂

This was so beautiful and relaxing to watch! I've never been into Autumn, to me it marks the beginning of the slippery slope into Winter, my least favourite season. I love Spring with the light evenings and warmer days ahead. However your video has convinced me to try to embrace Autumn this year. We're still awaiting rain here in East Anglia, although it looks like we might finally be getting some this week - so I'm going to relax and try to enjoy Autumn.

Total agree with all you said....feeling sad already that Summer is nearly over. I am in East Anglia too, on the coast. The the one good thing about this time of year though is that the holiday makers are gradually leaving!
