On the hunt for cars from Osaka to Tokyo!!...

By this point in the trip, I had already been in Japan so long that I felt like I lived there and my friends were just visiting me. Attack Tsukuba was coming up and it was time for us to head back to Tokyo. Before that however, we go model car hunting and stop by one of our favorite shops in Osaka, Car Make Across. It's always good to see Joe and I was surprised I hadn't seen him my entire trip. We love seeing all the cool stuff at the shop and I had a gift for him so I really wanted us to go see him before we left Osaka. One we got to Tokyo, I had to take everyone to all the model car shops I had found the previous month to make sure they got to see all the cool collectibles. During an evening, we met up with some friends and I got to see a Civic that I had been wanting to see for a very long time....

Really liked this one. The model car shops are definitely somewhere you could lose a lot of money.. That Civic in Tokyo looks unbelievable. It deserves a scale model. That thumbnail deserves a poster or t-shirt.

All the content is great but the Japan content is always amazing and those diecast stores so sick 👌 i would lose my mind and my wallet i would be as they say a kid in a candy store 😂 cause i collect and also customize alot of 1/64 diecast hence my youtube name and its so sick to see alot of the famous Japan cars in collector size now and the rest of the culture and car culture in Japan in your vids amazing job keep up the great work 👍

@@THECHRONICLES I love the mentality remains there to buy local, for a lot of things, and you see so many small businesses like that staying afloat. Complete opposite here in the states. It's rare to find a dedicated hobby/collectible store anywhere here now except in the largest cities, and even then you might only find one or two max with model kits or supplies.

P1 fun fact, they did come in 16x8.5 with offsets of +37, +27 and +17. By the looks of the deep hub it's most likely a +27 offset

12:27 RPF1 wheels are so overused nowadays… Especially in America and Europe. Just like TE37, MEISTER S1 and REGAMASTER. Every third Japanese brand car has those wheels! Either the originals or some replicas…

People just copy each other nowadays and put the same wheels on their cars. There’s no originality anymore… I’m so sick of those wheels. That’s all you see nowadays at car shows, meets and social media posts!

Different styles, brands and what particular car it is makes the prices variable and often high. The 1/18 version is almost $500.

@@THECHRONICLES Wow, that’s wild! The car might look good and be detailed but 200 bucks for a 1/43 car is way too much to be honest. For a 1/18 car I could let it slide, but for a 1/43 it’s way too much for what you get. The price/size ratio is ridiculous. It’s unfortunate that those awesome cars cost so much! Really messes up the diecast car collection hobby!
