The Goal for Jan Frodeno was to beat the World Record for a long distance triathlon at the Challenge Roth. And he did it! We developed Jan's Canyon Speedmax CF SLX even further than ever before to offer the maximum in aerodynamics. The standard configuration of Jan's Speedmax had already proven to be fast - as he rode it to Ironman World Championship victory in Kona, Hawaii last year. It's teflon lube for the chain. Gives much lower resistance values than other chain lube, but the problem is it's pretty bad for the environment (it doesn't degrade and ends up in surface and ground water).

Canyon has the absolutely most ignorant, horrible, non responsive and dishonest customer service and sales team of any organization I have even seen in my 50 years. 2 weeks to just try and get a delivery date and information on payment. They fraudulently changed my model size on the order and tried billing my account and shipping an incorrect bike without even the slightest attempt at notifying me, let alone legal authorization to do so. Since then it has been 5 days and I cannot get any true response, plenty of lies and excuses. And now for 28 hours there is zero response from the team. You think you will save money on a bike with this company, but you will be screwed, the internet is loaded with customer service scams, cheats, bad responses etc. about Canyon. Buyer beware.
