Water treatment plant? It is water with a water base paint. Lines are water based paint or paper. Not sure what needs to be treated. All the spit on the ice?

We made squeegees out of old puck board and 1x1's. 4 to 5 feet long and 2 feet high or so. We turn the refrigeration system off, but leave the brine pump on, a day or two before then takes about 6 people like 3 hours to push all the water out. Then we bring the floor scrub machine, aka floor zam, out and vacuum it dry. Add another hour. Tried the bulldozer, etc. This works for us but perhaps not for others. We are able to pull a section of threshed out and access a trench to drain all the water.

I’ve never heard of the ice being hauled off, every other place I’ve heard of just lets it melt and drain into the sewage system, which can handle it no problem. It just goes to sewage treatment plant and then into the local watershed.

Im watching this video cringing..thinking....omg your poor floor. Those machines must damage the concrete. We use handheld metal bars that were made out of old zamboni blade....and we still leave marks

They use blow torches.... Can't they just warm up the floor and squeegee it away down drains? Seams more complicated than it needs to be.
