How are her movements so perfectly fluid and incredible? Like, she doesn't look like she's giving it any effort, but also looks as if she's giving it all her power at the same time...howww??

This acting reads loud and clear. So many people don't play this scene with enough variety, and these two have it down to an art.

I'm addicted to both this version and the Ben Vereen version of this song. I definitely like the sound better in this one but the choreography and the character I go back and forth on. The dancing here is great but Pippin is miserable throughout the whole thing and that back and forth between him and the Lead Player in this version feels like they're showing off. In the Ben Vereen version, the Lead Player actually cheers Pippin up and gets him to keep trying and they dance together and it feels much more playful. Either way, 2 fantastic versions of a fantastic song and both get stuck in my head

I really wanted NOT to like this, being a huge fan of the original. That being said, this was pretty frikkin' AWESOME. Not so much Pippin, at least in this portion. But the Narrator, Patina, was totally awesome. I was happily and completely proven wrong that no one but Ben Vereen could play the role.

I like Kyle Dean's dancin' sass so much better, but he is so childish and great for this role.

kyle dean massey and ciara renee were more in sync. these 2 are great, but thats just my opinion

ive always liked ciara renee's leading player too: hers always seemed a little more malicious to me, especially in the opening "you look frenzied" line. her arm movements there are so sudden they almost seem more like an attack, and it looks like pippin is shocked/startled into sitting down, whereas patina miller's version begins with a softer presentation sort of motion. that being said, i think both are great

The idea of Pippin as circus wasn't new to this director - it was Fosse's original concept, which he changed because he came up with something better.

sorry all. pippin is Ben Vereen. she is not dancing fosse at all. pippin is fosse.. to see him do that live was so outstanding. so much so...I saw it 5 nights in a row. my idol and probably one of my favorite broadway productions and without telling you my age....I saw south pacific with Mary martin.
