On The Road Part Three has us exploring The Great Ocean Road along the shipwreck coast of Victoria. We set ourselves up in Peterborough before exploring all of the great sights that are on offer in this region. It is here where we both contract Covid cutting our touring time short but also extending our time at Peterborough while we recover.

So I have finally seen all the views from the Great Ocean Road. I traveled along it in the late 70s when my husband decided to take us to Sth Australia for our holiday. His idea of a holiday & mine were quite different & so although I have traveled the road I never saw anything of the countryside. It was just days on the road traveling, 3 or 4 days at Crystal Brook & then the return trip home again inland this time just so he would say he'd been to Sth Australia. He did the same thing for Victoria & Qld. The poor kids were sick of his holidays as was I, we would spend a week at his mother's in the country bored to tears while he spent the time watching the cricket with his father. That is why I am enjoying your trip so much!! So thank you very much for another wonderful video.

G'day Mick & Sally Amazing changes to access and parking for GOR = Great Ocean Road, visitors as My old time memories. Struth, I was with a coach group at the Old London Bridge...my group were safe and witnessed that collapse. Do believe my passengers have heaps pics of the rescue. And still remember the scolding from next accommodation for my group for being late...ha ha Goodness me! Thanks Mick, as I had no idea how the progression of tourism had happened. Struth...age accelerates far to quick, so do wish for your viewers to get out and enjoy while still there we all have this aging erosion happening from memories. Mick & Sally, your exposure of these geographical wonders is to be thanked and treasured. Bloomin" Covid....guessing is with us forever, so please viewers, do believe it and vaccinate.

Brilliant Mick. Bought back memories. We did the Great Ocean Road 2016 but in the opposite direction and yes it was windy as well. Enjoyed it so much we stayed a 3rd night at Port Campbell before continuing on westward. Very much enjoy your videos from NZ.

OMG BUGGER...hope both now fully recovered - had it when in Q last year - interesting...daughter and self cooped up in a small flat for two weeks!! A caravan would be FUN not! Thanks again for the update...may miss the lighthouse. Unusual - Different- Interesting to see the GOR in your vlog. All helps with the planning😊 Re the Wrens - they are not shy at Coffin Bay - hopped in the car hunting for crumbs! Jan Adelaide

Great video as usual. At least you picked a pretty spot to isolate. Great memories of this area as it was the last trip I did with Mum before she pased away. I dont think Ive ever done any of my many trips down that way without nearly getting my head blown off! 😂 looking forward to the next episode. Cheers Cheryl

We had the ideal spot in the Peterborough caravan park to isolate, our own little spot in the corner. Wind although not good is much better than rain.

Another great one , if you dont receive a subsidy from the SA tourist board they are missing out. You would ha ve to be the number one ambassador for the state. safe travel.

Not cheap but as we were there we accepted it and went in. It covers the entry to all of the buildings as well.
