I became a Sunderland fan after watching the Netflix series. I even joined a local football league to get myself into shape. I’m a Buffalo Sabres fan. Yes, I know it’s a different sport but we are fighting our way out of our own dark times. We haven’t made the playoffs for an NHL record 11 seasons and a lot of those we were in dead last place. I felt the pain of Sunderland fans and feel so happy for them! 🏆
