What you have to remember is that The Crew 1 was released in 2014 and not only does it have a huge (and incredibly diverse) open world but it runs near flawlessly on both gen8 and gen9 consoles, so i'm not really sure why there is a common belief that X|S consoles don't have the technical capability to run games like ATS or ETS. The problem with Fernbus, OTR and the likes is that instead of having a dedicated game engine that can be tweaked and/or updated to move with the times, they're built in Unity - and because of which, quality of product will always be towards the lower end of acceptability...and the true capability of X|S consoles will never be met. I mean, all you have to do is take a look at American Dream to see how an open world environment can easily be achieved away from Unity on a tight budget.

Yeah i still love playing this its a realy nice long distance driving sim and a lot of outher viewers like it aswell. When ever i do an episode of this it brings in a lot more views than any of my outher content same as yourself. Your most popular episode is on this game with 25k views

I'm still playing it, it's the only long distance trucking game worth it, also playing Truck Driver and Bus Sim.... hopefully Alaska will raise the bar. Snowrunner is great but I agree with you, it isn't a road sim. About Fernbus: I just got my PS5, like 3 weeks ago, so finally I have access to more truck games and Fernbus always interested me (long distance passengers)..... following your comment about Fernbus what do you think about the state of the game right now? is working to a level that it's enjoyable? I'm just waiting for this game to be included at a sale so I can get the maps DLCs..... Thanks for whatever you share about Fernbus and great video yet again!

I think the consoles could probably handle ETS/ATS but i'm not sure the developer/publisher want to take the financial risk of releasing it on console. Developing for just PC is also much easier on devs than those who try to develop for 3 different platforms too. Not sure how big the dev team is, but maybe developing for consoles as well as PC is currently out of their scope? I really do hope we see it on console eventually.

From watching your vids and streams on this game, it had so much potential to be a great trucking sim. Multidrops, getting out the cab to do a few bits, interacting with the tachograph. All positive additions. Just the poor handling physics and support really let this down.

Alaskan truck is a below average game, and thats even by vomsole standard. The best tricking game on console is fernbus, just imagine its a truck and not a bus. Fernbus proves a huge map is possible on console. But trucking sims are a small niche and as such, small companies make them and make poor attempts

The things in my opinion that would be great New wagon/lorries (very least next gen Scania and MAN) Profiles Manual Save option Employees find their own work (I don't mind micromanaging but sorting out ten people's work loads gets old real fast) XP from the Employees loads (even if its 10%) If I can load up a combined weight of 20,000kg with my first rigid wagon a dolly trailer LET ME BLOODY PULL THE SODDING THING The AI need to seriously stop hitting the brakes on the motorway and bringing Everyone to a stop The cargo space needs to be an option And Engines Let Us Have more powerful engines 410 - 420 bhp is not enough power especially when you have a rigid wagon with a gigaliner it is so frustrating transporting goods from Munich to kiel and having to be punished for trying to maximise space and weight limits on the wagons😤😡

I got to level 1 today and achievement hasnt popped. I have sold cattle trailer and brought a proper trailer. I have got an employee on the rigid trailer. Am i supposed to do something else or are the achievements glitching

To be honest…. If trucking games is your thing, get a PC. I really don’t think there is going to be anything better than what we already have on console. All promises and no content
