Your riding style will determine the brand of shock and MM of travel needed. I went with the Rock Shox which seems to be very popular and affordable. I have a new, never-mounted, DNM AOY-36RC 165mm shock that I'd sell for $75 shipped. It's plug-and-play for our bikes. Dual air chambers. I went with a new linkage and longer (190mm) shock (same model) and it's a great shock. I also have the same fork that Tony posted but 120mm. Brand new in box. You'd still need the adapter. I have this same fork on my Hyper. $200 shipped.
