I had a little toyota corolla and was taking an long exit ramp at speed and for a split saw a big deer jump in mid - air nicking the metal plane an inch from corner of windshield at very edge with a hoof scrape!!!. The deer just made it.

The dashcam looks to be recording in wide view which makes the deer look further away than it actually is. It was definitely closer in-person than it looks in the clip.

Still, wasn't this close, if he didn't even need to break. He wanted to tap the break out of surprise, but then noticed that it's not necessary.
