o Bottom-line - The Mistflake represents for GS, what the Snowflake used to, it’s a quintessential Grand Seiko but with a future twist, foreshadowing more where the brand is going vs. where it’s been

Tried it on it’s one of my favourites, the only small problem are the clasps ,great watch though but I do know that they are trying to make them better thanks 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿❤️

One thing that people might not notice is Ti is inherently darker than steel. Videos and photos on the web don’t illustrate this properly. You can’t polish Ti either to return the luster. Proud owner of a SBGE285 😊

Great watch! Bought it at an AD in Italy in 2022.

I very much appreciate the multitude of lume shots. My SGBN005 has disappointing lume but this is worth considering now, thank you.

Stunning. Will ne my first GS if i decide to pull the trigger. Was very tempted tp buy the diver till i saw this. Unfortunately the AD only has the black in srock.

I've loved GS for years. I just wish they would keep the power gauge on the back!

I think at this point it's become pretty signature to the spring drive aesthetic and only relocated to the back for especially dressy and minimalist models.

There are many models with the PR at the back. Most are dress watches like Omiwatari SBGY range or SBGD 8-day range

Loved this but when I tried it on the bracelet and clasp were a deal breaker for me. 22mm just makes it look far too large on the wrist. Also, other companies use screws with ti and so should GS. So much easier to change at home. Finally, no micro adjusting clasp. Shame as it’s lovely.

Titanium screws strip really easily. Push pins may be a little more inconvenient to remove, but they don’t break like Ti screws.

chunky bracelet undermining the watch proportion... not to mention the still no micro adjust on the move.... skipped.

I dont own any Rolex and its bullshit marketing scam. SG, Cartier and JLC is the way to go. Even Omega is good. Christopher Ward is good. Spend your money on companies that cares about you. Dont support Gray Markets and Scalpers.

@@AverageBros Are you aware that there are $200 Chinese watches that come with a bracelet with glide lock-styled clasps? I don't expect a $200k watch to have a $10k bracelet. I expect it to have a bracelet of a quality adequate with the rest of the watch...which is DEFINITELY not the case with GS. I don't want to sound too negative, I hope you can see my point. GS is doing great things, but they're way behind compared to other brands they want to compete with when it comes to bracelets. In my opinion they need to step up their game. As it is, It's like having a Ferrari fitted with parts from a Fiat.
@AverageBros
@AverageBros 11 ай бұрын
@@giovannipascarella2405 Not everyone wants a glide-lock, not everyone wants a sports clasp, not everyone wants a bracelet. So just because there are cheap Chinese watches that have a certain feature, it means that all mainstream brands should rushout and duplicate them? Cheap brands are cheap, that's their whole business model. That's not the business model of luxury goods. The majority of luxury watches don't have toolless micro-adjust clasps and they're doing just fine. The point of owning a GS for many is to not be like Rolex and Tudor, so I can understand why they're taking their time developing their own signature solution.
