It is not often that a singer gets to be a part of such incredible chamber music. I am so grateful I was able to do this during my time at NEC in Jordan Hall and with such brilliant musicians! It was a magnificent time and I am very proud to have been a part of it. Thank you to Tanya Blaich and Laurence Lesser for extending the invitation and putting all this together!
On Wenlock Edge is an incredible song cycle written by Ralph Vaughan Williams in 1909 for tenor, piano, and string quartet. The songs are taken from poems from A. E. Housman's 1896 collection, A Shropshire Lad.
