How to use salicylic acid & benzoyl peroxide👇🏻 • salicylic acid- 1. If it’s a serum or cream or gel, Use it on whole face twice a week at night only on freshly washed dry skin. If your skin is sensitive then just use it for 1-2 hours and wash it off followed by moisturiser. 2. If it’s a face wash, use it twice a day if you have oily skin & use it once a day if you have combination & dry skin. • Benzoyl peroxide- 1. If you are a beginner use BPO gel/cream with 2.5% for 30 minutes on acne and wash it off, slowly increase the timings of the skin takes it. 2. If your skin usually handles BPO then use pea size amount on whole face or just acne area (however you feel is better) over night. I would suggest to use moisturiser before the BPO. ✅ PRO TIP: you can use both of them for best results I will say because at the end you get the pus filled acne but make sure to use it alternate nights & not in the same routine. Both have caused me irritated skin with extreme redness and inflammation over the face. I had to take counter steroids to treat that. Now with oily, acne prone sensitive skin, people do suggest use this and that but honestly hardly anything ever works properly. There isn't a week where I don't have numerous.active acne. And you can't test and buy every product, skin products are expensive. The only thing working is avoiding dairy, maida and sugar. Yes avoiding them has been a great relief. Thanks to you. Exercising regularly, eating right has proved to be naturally bettering acne issue but OTC methods are just itchy to my skin.

I tried benzoyl peroxide on inflammatory hormonal acne but it did not work for me. Instead I started using tea tree oil (undiluted) on the acne and it also helps in reducing acne scars.
