OBSESSION Clips

There are many many clips that are fun and exciting within OBSESSION, but they inevitably get cut down substantially to work within the narrative. This sub series focuses on those clips to give them room to breathe!
In this clip we follow Don Yount, our bronze driver, on his out-lap and consecutive flying lap around Daytona International Speedway. These are Dons first laps since 2022 and his very first in the new EVO2 spec Lamborghini.
We found these onboards extremely entertaining in their own right and thought wed kick off this new sub series with this fun onboard. Spotter Jonatan Jorge is in Dons ear giving him constant information on traffic and other pertinent information to navigate the session safely.

I love watching these and comparing the lines IRL versus the lines in the SIM like IRACING, and comparing my SIM POVs for realism. Downside is it makes me want to get on track irl. Love hearing the spotters in these...

I have so much desire to be out on the asphalt. I play racing sims so much and everytime I watch an onboard I genuinely get upset because I don’t think I’ll ever be able to. It’s so expensive to even start out

so cool to have that guy calling everything for you, but also takes too much away from the racing aspect that involves managing traffic... for safety reasons, it's awesome... other than that, no thanks.

The racing engineer is talking to much 😢, seems to me that it should say important things through the mic. This remains me the NASCAR, all the racing engineers use the mic. every two secs.

This is a “spotter” not an engineer. The spotter is actually providing really important information as it relates to the drivers situation on track at that very moment. Letting the driver know about traffic in a car that’s a little difficult to see out of really gives you back concentration on the road. Also, Don is an older Bronze driver. So again, he benefits a ton from the spotters feedback. Lastly, the drivers have a chat with the spotters before going on track and are only given information that they ask for. Hope that helps!
