To everyone who are wondering, Coffs will have it's last 717 flight on the 26th October, we are getting the A220 on the Coffs to Melbourne route

It is indeed strange there was no water salute. I'm fairly sure we got one on the 787, and it was fairly far from its first flight when I flew on it domestically back in 2017. Great vid!

Nice, congrats on your Qantas's 1st inaugural Airbus A220 flight to Canberra. I wish, Qantas, Airbus A220 has window inside the lavatory. $215 for a 1 way flight to Canberra is quite expensive, but that's okay, even though your special flight is almost full. I flown the Airbus A220 on Delta for the 1st time, but on the 100 San Francisco to Salt lake city and the flight is good, 1 and a half hour and what is special about the Airbus A220, they have window inside the lavatory, I love it and I wish all airlines have window inside the lavatory.

I've been on the A220 on Air Canada and airBaltic, and I can definitely tell that it's a game changer. It's well designed cabin is like no other, and it's fuel efficiency is the best in its class, also low noise and big windows as well!

Wow looks very nice inside p, although if it’s true that Qantas would be using these planes on international routes to south east Asia and the pacific might be more ideal if they had IFE.

Yeah I’d agree about the IFE for a 5+ hour flight, but for shorter domestic flights the wifi is more than enough!

Like, the Scoot E190E2 is cool and all, but surely Singapore Airlines could do with adding A220s to complement the 737 Max jets?

Yeah I get what you’re saying. But I understand why they wouldn’t, as Singapore doesn’t operate and doesn’t need to operate to regional airports, scoot does that for them because there’s no need for a luxury airline on those routes.

I got a question, said in a previous comment I'll be flying on my own domestically. I just want to ask, which airline should I go with. Melbourne to Adelaide or Melbourne to Gold Coast most likely. I'm thinking of either Bonza or Qantas from your reviews, but help me choose gentlemen. Nice callab with Jayden Wong, good youTuber.

Thanks! If you’re looking for low-cost Bonza is great but can be a bit iffy with reliability, otherwise Jetstar NEO will do the job. For full service I’d personally go with Rex unless you have Qantas or VA status. Hope that helps :)

It will be a shame to see the end of the 717 but then again they can't keep flying them forever. Lets just hope this A220 is as good as they say it is. I've only heard 1 minor complaint about them and that's when the engines spool up they make a horrible Whining noise for a couple of seconds that can be a bit hard on the ears. Not sure if I heard it in the video or not.

Yeah. The A220 is a fantastic regional jet, but idk about taking a 5+ hour flight on it… The wale noise is only heard a few times throughout the flight, and as an avgeek I think it’s a cool sound. My hesitation with doing a medium-haul flight on this plane would be the setback padding and legroom.

Hello, I Am the Same Comment in the Viet Travels Air. Would You Please Do the Best to Fly from Manila (MNL) To New York City (NYC) A350-900XWB That's Like 16 Hours' Worth of Journey. So, can you please fly it, it is extra comfy and has more legroom than the old Airbus A330-300 Red Eye Flight. That Would Make Me Happy Because I Live in the Philippines. Looks disappointing overall. Even some of the ageing 737 have IFE. Qantas taking short cuts and charging the highest fares. New management but same shit.

I wouldn’t say that, it could be more impressive but it’s still very good. It’s a regional jet so wouldn’t expect IFE. I do agree though that Qantas takes short cuts and charges a premium…
