TRIP REPORT | First Time on KLM CityHopper ツ | Amsterdam to Warsaw | Embraer E190

KLM CityHopper Trip Report from Amsterdam to Warsaw onboard on of the Embraer E190 operated by KLM CityHopper. Currently, the E190 is the only plane on their fleet, together with the E175, a smaller version of it.
A very comfortable flight on with KLM. Amsterdam airport is amazing for planespotting and, of course, we took pics of lots of planes before boarding that you'll be able to watch on this Trip Report.
The flight itself with KLM CityHoper was very comfortable, with a load factor of around 75-80%. People want to fly and, with the proper healthy measures, it's completely safe. Don't let the airline industry suffer more than it's strictly necessary.

Hablando de Embraer tienes en Canarias los nuevos Embraer E195-E2 operado por Binter Canarias (1ª aerolinea en Europa en operar este nuevo modelo). Estupendo video, un saludo😀😀😀

Lo se, Ismael. Lo que pasa es que los precios de Binter para los que no somos residentes son un poco desorbitados... de vez en cuando se puede encontrar alguno que está dentro de mis límites... pero no muchas veces. Lo intentará este Otoño! Saludos :)

Another great report! Honestly KLM are quite a nice airline, The snack boxes are a very nice touch especially since they are free. The E-Jets are great planes and seem more comfortable than the “mainstream” 737s :)

Nice Trip Report! I flown with KLM on the E-Jet a couple of times and always find the legroom to be very good. Good to see they still offer a complimentary service on their flights. It seems like a lot of airlines have completely stopped any service post COVID.✈️

Me neither, Mick... me neither. I think exactly the same way as you... it's only positive for those who enjoy the videos as more subscribers mean more growth for the channel and better content... That being said, since last week video that I've started to encourage viewers to subscribe, I've seen a little growth compared to other weeks. Let's see if we can maintain this tendency... it would be really helpful for the channel, especially during this global situation where the income is at the lowest point in years... I think many people didn't realise that this was the only channel that didn't stop uploading Trip Reports for any week during the lockdown. Not a single Saturday without video and, for many weeks, more than 1 video. Have a great week! :)

Have flown the KLM cityhopper LCY to AMS route on the 190 quite a few times, always been a comfortable and reliable flight , better than the 737 from LHR.

KLM has the largest Embraer fleet in Europe with 49 aircraft. In addition, KLM has signed a firm order with Embraer for 21 E195-E2s. The first E195-E2 for KLM will be received in 2021.

I have flown with KLM from Birmingham to Amsterdam but it was on the 737-800 and was a lovely flight. Also you got food and drink on board a national airline, happy days lucas ;-)

Haha Absolutely! As I've said in another comment, KLM looks great AND it's great. That's the difference with others :P More KLM videos to come in the next weeks/months (expecting 2x B738 and another E190 flight). This week we'll have 2 videos (Lufthansa and, probably, Aegean). Also, I will be recording a flight from Warsaw to Prague (LOT Dash8) and Prague to Kosice (Slovakia) on the Czech Airlines ATR72. Then we'll continue by train to Bratislava. Went on a Cityhopper E190. Honestly I was very impressed with the power this thing has, I called it "feisty". Very strong climb, lots of shaking and all of that, but was very smooth during cruise and descent. Not bad!

@@OnBoardHD Yep! It wasn't as nice as the AirBaltic CSeries/A220 I took before that, but it wasn't bad. I was actually quite impressed by the wing flex on the E190, namely that from my seat, the winglet would go out from view! Apart from a bit of stress on that, it was quite fine. And amazing crew experience from KLM too

I really, really, really liked this video, but I can only give it one like, which I did. Schiphol is a familiar airport, so I knew where up and down, and which level you were, and where is left and right. But I loved what you did with the end, the part from exiting the plane till land side with even a look at the facade of the terminal. I like the Embraer and the views from The Netherlands from above.

KLM is the best for me, the crew on there was always so nice, and it always grants you a window seat, unlike some A321s, the rows with a door behind it doesn’t have a window.

One of the few European airlines still providing food and drinks, British Airways stopped that years ago and became a budget airline. The Air Baltic A220- 300 is looking hot. Love the destination facts.

Absolutely true, mate! KLM looks great and it's great. That's the difference with others :P I still have 1 Air Baltic video recorded waiting to be edited. For now, I don't have more flights planned with Air Baltic, but I have one little voucher that will make things a lot easier to record an extra flight with them as soon as I find an interesting route. :) Have a great week! @@OnBoardHD Indeed, KLM are one of my favorite airlines, I use them twice a year to visit family in Berlin, 8 flights in total, love them. Only once have I been late, took off from my home town Inverness on an E75 (one month old) aircraft developed a hydraulic issues with the nose wheel steering, we landed but could not vacate, a tug came to our rescue and pulled us to the stand .. was so funny. Looking forward to your Air Baltic video, that will be epic, not many AB videos on here.

@@amc3 Wow! Thanks for sharing that experience! It has to be something "special" hehe In more than 500 flight's I've done, I've never had any issues. Just 2 rejected takeoffs at very low speed and 1 go-around. Tomorrow I'm recording again: WAW-PRG-KSC (LOT Dash8 and CSA ATR72) then we'll continue to Bratislava on an Intercity (IC) train. It will be interesting I guess :) I will make the usual trip reports about those flights, but also a Vlog.

I still want to try the E190/175. Never been in smaller than A319 and Dash-8.. one time I wanted to fly LOTs 190 they changed it to 737! I damn sure know what to try after corona ends! (and maybe ill get to fly on a380.. needs to happen quick lol)

Fantástica observación. Para poder confirmarlo vi en Maps la situación de los depósitos que aparecen en el minuto 6:20. Schiphol un aeropuerto con 6 pistas!

Genial vídeo Lucas! Este modelo de avión es similar al B717 que usa Volotea o más bien a los CRJ como los de Air Nostrum? Veo cómo diferencia que los motores están en las alas y no en la cola como esos modelos más pequeños. Hay alguna diferencia a la hora de situar los motores en cola o en las alas?? Gracias Lucas!

Muchas gracias, José María. Bueno, tanto cómo parecido... la verdad es que yo los veo más diferentes que parecidos jeje Especialmente, como bien dices, por dónde están colocados los motores (alas o cola) y la implicación que tienen que dónde van colocados los elevadores en la cola (a la altura del fuselaje o en lo alto de la cola). Diferencias hay, por ejemplo en el centro de gravedad del avión, pues son toneladas que van colocadas en el centro del avión, o atrás de todo. Hablar de más diferencias sería irse mucho a aspectos técnicos. Saludos!

I think there always things to improve, but being honest they offer a great service for a very good price. By the way! On Tuesday I will be flying for the very first time to Kosice! :D CSA ATR72 from Praha! :D

@@pilotsam004 Yep, I've read it. But I really wanted o try CSA for the first time. I've flown with them once already, from Madrid to Prague, but the flight was operated by a SmartWings aircraft... so this will be the "real" first time with CSA. Flying to Kosice will be a very special feeling!! :D Actually, the whole trip will be very interesting in my opinion: WAW-PRG on the LOT Dash8, then to Kosice, and then I'll take the Intercity to Bratislava (this time in Business class) :) Of course, there will be a Vlog of all this :)

Los medios de comunicación en España nos hacen tener la impresión de que no podemos ir a ningún sitio. Mi hija fue la semana pasada a ahí, a Amsterdam sin ningún requisito, es más, le ofrecieron hacerse gratis la prueba de Covid. Saludos y a viajar, con la seguridad necesaria, todo lo que se pueda. Totalmente de acuerdo. En mi opinión es muy necesaria toda la información que se da, especialmente para crear conciencia de la situación y hacer que la gente no se olvide de cómo estamos. Sin embargo, desde mi punto de vista, creo que los medios de comunicación están haciendo "su Agosto" desde hace meses con todo el tema del COVID. He leído recientemente un artículo muy interesante sobre las consecuencias mentales para la población de tal bombardeo catastrofista por parte de los medios de comunicación... veremos cómo termina esto. Yo ya te digo que he hecho más viajes en estos meses de Julio y Agosto que en cualquier otro verano de mi vida. Y aquí estoy... No he tenido ningún problema. Eso sí, siempre siguiendo estrictas medidas de higiene, tales como FFP2 siempre, sin excepciones, cambiándola coda X horas, limpieza de manos antes de comer o tocar nada... En fin, a ver si pronto llega la tan ansiada vacuna y volvemos a ver la luz...
