It could end up being a rotating location like with the Hungry Hopper though I haven't verified that yet. So far this is the only location that I myself have found that does work as the video shows. Definitely try again and if I learn anything else of course my community here will be the first to know 👍. Also, definitely try using a scanner like I did in the video, it helps a lot. I almost didn't see it and without the scanner, unless you're standing right in front of it the blasted zombie was almost invisible hidden in the trees 😂.

So that's one of the things that myself and a few others I've had this conversation with are worried about. As of right now pretty much all the really cool blueprints are locked behind the stupid Wish Machine. That's completely stupid on its own, but it's also why many people are concerned that is going to be how they do P2W. Outside of the Wish Machine the only other place to get gear and weapon blueprints are from when you loot the Mysterious chest in each Stronghold. The Crank AR was a total pain in the ass to get lol. It's located at the top of the tower, on top of the mountain at Fort Eyrie in the Lone Wolf Waste to the SW of Blackwell. I'd suggest taking a friend or two with you if possible because it is a bit of a trek up to the tower with Vultures all over the base.

Not at all! I've already posted other videos on how to find the Hungry Hopper and Electric Eel, both of which are found outside of boss fights.

Either of the scanners will work so you could just go with the basic one that just shows enemies.

Yeah, like the hungry hopper it does appear to have at least two locations you can find it. My suggestion would be to use the scanner like I did to make it easier to find the zombie since it will be the only one just hanging limp in the air like in the video lol. Thankfully it's very easy to reach this location without having to actually engage with any of the enemies if you're careful and use the scanner to see where they are all located.

You learn it in the Memetics tree. You unlock the first one at Tier 2 under Fortification 👍.
