I can recommend some products that do the same from the drugstore. Most important sunscreen to prevent skin aging Garnier sunscreen fluid Cleansing oil from Balea or Isana, they are great, cheap, and work. This could be a whole routine if you don't want to spend a lot of money. As an alternative sunscreen, I recommend Nivea sensitive sunscreen for the face. You should also ad a night cream to moisturize your skin. There are lots of cheap options from balea sensitive or isana pure or my favorite Isana ceramide cream. They have a good liquid moisturizer too. But the most important step is sunscreen! The only step you can never skip. Every sunscreen would work as long as you wear it everyday

Cleanser makes not difference unless you’re super sensitive so it’s one problem less. Use one serum every 3 months (Retinol-Vitamin C-Bakuchiol which works amazing on acne prone skin overnight. Put Laneige Ceramides/Peptides version mini last long for $16. Or use SPF Moisturizer this is the key Spf if you can have the serum put a spf with antioxidants to give a better protection. Believe me my skin was dry, full of blemishes less than one month ago and I didn’t have to suffer from retinol journey to see improvement in my skin I am 33 years old. There’s a lot of people who claim to have never done Botox but they’ve done Botox. I’m not saying that’s you but for most influencers advertising their looks on social media. They have had work done on their face but a majority claim to be all natural. It’s pretty obvious when studying someone’s face whether they’ve had Botox, fillers, etc or not. It’s also not shameful to get those things and there’s nothing wrong with preserving one’s beauty into the elderly years. People should be able to look how they want and be honest about how they obtained those looks without feeling embarrassed. Also people are allowed to be upset and call it out when someone claims to be all natural and advertises specific skincare but that’s clearly not the case. Consumerism is a plague and the propaganda promoting capitalism in American society is insane.

@@molotochnik.i as someone who gets microneedling done by a dermatologist I'll anyday spend extra for the safety and the more even coverage not to mention the expertise. I believe beyond depths of 1.5mm it's advisable to go to a professional. I must say I am curious about at home alternatives too I'm just not sure I can keep a steady hand or ensure sterility as opposed to sanitisation. Do you have any experience with the latter or know of any reputable resources I can look up regarding this?
@molotochnik.i9 ай бұрын
@@suisenshirasaki8298 I keep responding to you but I don't see my comments after refreshing. Anyway microneedling professionally is by far more effective than buying at home electronic microneedlers or dermarollers. I use to use a 2.0mm for stretch marks on my stomach and although they were gone in 6 months, I was getting a little bit of delayed hyperpigmentation (which could've been from using too big of a needle which is MY fault), dermarollers also tug and scratch the skin more than they puncture so I switched to electronic microneedlers off Amazon and they work well. When I got it professionally done on my face for light acne scarring with a few craters, after 3 treatments of 0.3mm and healing process my skin looked like glass, so I definitely recommend professional all the way. But the at home sanitization process is simple, soak in alcohol before and after. I like to dry it with a UV light. Also showering before or after for good measure. I don't recommend using the same needle or roller after one use. I also don't have any sources I just use skincare reddits a lot, it's where I found this method. Haven't seen anybody get a skin infection yet but I'm sure it has happened, just not to me. It's effective for me though so I really love it.

@@thvsrq you are so naive if you think serums can achieve that at 50. Serums cannot make your face plump. Also notice how the plumpness is concentrated on the cheekbones? That’s a super typical place to have filler. Look at almost every celeb like Kim k, Madonna, lil Kim, etc. they have those same very plump cheeks, and plump face. This look is so common and noticeable now that it’s gotten the nickname pillow face. And that’s exactly how this woman’s face looks. It would be more believable if she had a few light wrinkles here and there, but not even 1 wrinkle?!? Serums cannot do that either. And look how tight her skin is, it looks like she can barely move it. Idk if you’re young and/or not educated on this subject or live somewhere where you don’t see this type of look often (or are Asian/Korean as I noticed they get extremely defensive when someone says an Asian/Korean has had work done) but living in Los Angeles and being a consumer of social media, it’s extremely obvious to me when someone has had cosmetic procedures and/or surgeries done, especially when factoring in their age. It’s people like this who imply this is solely the result of skincare and people like you who defend them that is the reason why body dysmorphia and low self esteem is so common nowadays, comparing our natural bodies to unnatural bodies and wondering why we don’t look as good.

Lots of assumptions made about what procedures she’s had, which I think if the context was not trying to sell the skincare products, would be just fine because you can tell she’s naturally beautiful despite the procedures she’s had done. As a Korean, sorry sister, I can tell what she’s had done - AND It’s ok!! Y’all it’s not a crime to get botox or a facelift, however, I do understand how people are upset because the video is very very misleading. Also, to those who say you cannot actually KNOW she got anything done, well, that is true, we can’t be 100% sure but for me the most telling thing about her getting stuff done is that she has double eyelid surgery. And I would bet my entire life on it lol because again, as a Korean, who knows real Korean people, it is very obvious her double eyelid is not natural. And my friends had it done when they were children… because that’s the beauty standard many parents put on their kids. And logically, if she got her eyelid done (extremely common in Korea and Koreans in America btw) I would infer that she’s more than likely also had some kind of anti aging procedure done. Again, there’s nothing wrong with surgery or procedures imo. As long as it’s not ruining your life, let people do what makes them happy. But let’s also stop trying to say that the solution is to spend thousands of dollars to fund this billion dollar scam industry of skincare. No amount of skincare products will make you look younger. It’s a scam people. Please do the research. The reason people think it works is because it temporarily affects your skin, but unless you constantly do it, you cannot beat genetics. It’s the truth. Not an opinion. How fast someone ages in their face is genetics. You can get wrinkles if you don’t use proper sunscreen, but you can still have amazing skin, if it’s in your genes. Plenty of people have wrinkles AND still look good. The best way to age is gracefully, and that’s by treating your skin to SUNSCREEN or if you want to, procedures.

My relatives in the Philippines esp in the province. I envy them though they didnt use any products on their skin nor any products for their hair,but gosh they are very strong at their ages: 90s,80s,70s, 60s and able to walk from the mountain to the city EVERYDAY for 10hrs! Their hair are still black ang thick.😂 The most thing amazed me is that they are able to carry a big sack of veggies, fruits, etc while walking from that mountain to the City.😂 For me, I admired my aunties not just because they always look the same but for their strength and how they live like that until today. Compared to people on Socmed always focusing on how pretty they are etc but obviously, these people arent going to be pretty or to have a pretty skin w/o going to expensive doctors or using expensive products etc.

No one needs "skin care." I worked with a woman who smoked, drank, and wore some makeup but her skin was incredible. Her secret was not using anything really. She didn't wash her face or use cleansers and toners. At night she used an inexpensive moisturiser, right over the makeup. I'd been using things like Aveda and Sense' but was curious about her approach so I stopped letting anything other than a nighttime lotion/oil and my bare minerals touch my face. I'm 53 now, have been doing that since I was 27 years old and my skin looks amazing. No sunscreen, no facial products. My bedtime moisturiser is usually a combo of castor oil, cheap lotion and sometimes noxzema. Occasionally I mix some oils in my hands and pat it on. I don't even let water touch my face. The skin care industry is a huge scam.

I'm still struggling with this myself as I grow older; but over the years I've come to be more accepting of how different I look every couple yrs. Yes I still love healthy skin and wanting to take care of my body and prevent what I can. But at the same time, of I get wrinkles, if I get a dark spot, or darker bags under my eyes. I'm slowly trying to teach myself to react to it in a softer way and not with hate and regret. I've realized I'm more grateful that I'm just still alive even if I look in the mirror at 27 and see permanent bags under my eyes. Sometimes I'm called racoon girl, or my coworker a couple times before said my eyes looked like I was on something cuz of my lack of sleep. But mostly it's because I never took care of my body enough. So instead of reaching for a beauty product left and right, I'm going to react first by resting more, drinking more water and getting alot of the basics down that many people forget in their day to day life. Age will catch up to us one way or another, and wanting to feel pretty and take care of your body is okay and a beautiful thing. But so is acceptance and learning to be soft with yourself. In the past there were some days I didn't think I'd make it to 20, but I did. Atleast we made it through, we are alive and thriving right? ☺️

My mother will always be the most beautiful woman in the world to me, no matter her wrinkles. It would be disrespectful to reduce her only to the appearance of her skin and how young she looks, considering she is such an amazing person and even though people say she was the most beautiful girl in her class back in her day. It is her intelligence, education, mindset and perseverance that all proved to be of much greater importance than her beauty. Sure, taking care of your skin is still important and looking young at age 50 can be fascinating, but in the end those are all trivial matters and what’s most important is our health and general well being as well as how we treat others. The people who had time and money for good skincare or the ones who are blessed with good genes, we don’t have to put them on a pedestal. And you are not less of a person if you have wrinkles, which is a completely natural process of the body by the way, we will all age eventually. Just look at the things that do matter and appreciate what you have. There is beauty in wrinkles as well, to me it means that you’ve lived and laughed carefree but also that you have cared about others and gone through struggles and faced hardships in life. If someone cares more about your appearance and how young you look, then any of your actual achievements, then that is a red flag 😅 Wrinkles or no wrinkles, you are beautiful as you are.

I'm 47 and I have excellent facial skin for my age. I'm not rich. I don't have a consistent skincare routine. I'm bad at eating veggies and drinking water. I've had Botox only a few times in my life. What's my secret? Genetics (both parents had good skin too) and SPF. In fact, I'd say SPF has the most impact throughout my life. I used SPF on my face semi-consistently and so it's mostly wrinkle free, and I rarely ever got suntans. However, I neglected putting SPF on my neck and chest all my life, and often wore v-neck or scoop neck tops. As a result, my neck has wrinkles and my chest has minor sun damage. They are a sharp contrast from my wrinkle-free face. I wish someone had told me when I was younger to protect my face and neck from sun damage. Seriously -- SPF is the most impactful skincare regimen in your arsenal. It's even more important than moisturizer. Be good about keeping up with your sunscreen on all vulnerable and delicate parts of your body, including your neck, chest, arms, hands. And also your eyelids! The first places to show damage will be the areas with more delicate skin.
