Sancho would be an excellent signing for Newcastle. He clearly feels best when he's a bigger fish in a smaller pond. The crowd at St James's Park would love him and I think they'd bring out the best in him.

Really not sure he'd pass Newcastle's no dickhead policy though. Also given the rumours about lack of application in training etc, I can’t see him lasting long with what Howe expects of his players. Certainly think that’s the area of the pitch we will be looking to strengthen, but Sancho is unlikely to be it, not least due to the wages he's currently on, Newcastle are not in a position to pay that. After all is it not his wages that have made the deal challenging for Dortmund?

@@jamesbothoms6009 Wages could be an issue but I don't think it's obvious he's really been a dick at Man U. Clearly he's had a personality clash with ten Hag but ten Hag seems like a guy with whom it would be easy to clash. There have been other stories that Sancho is a bit mentally fragile but nothing suggests he's not basically a decent guy, albeit one who needs a bit of special handling.

Barca fans have never turned on Vitor Roque, if anything we were furious that Xavi wasnt using him more bc when he did play he showed a lot of promise and he was also done dirty by la liga for an unjust red card right when he was starting to score. We expect him to get more chances under Flick

KDB's injuries are blown out of proportion. He was out for so long because he had surgery to fully sort out the issues previously. He had a long time out to recoup and had his minutes managed to save him from being too strenuous while that properly heals. Same situation as Van Dijk a couple years ago, everyone said he was finished when he came back. 1 year on, was candidate for defender if the season. And KDB doesnt rely on bursts of pace and explosive power. He's gonna be fine.

@@edenholt4394 I don't think he'll leave abruptly this summer, I think it'll be announced during the season like Ferna and D.Silva if he makes that decision for next year. He's started the Euros well as an individual so I'm sure he's confident to fight for more trophies.

4:23 Joe I love you but do you not remember how Man City looked when they “made do” without Rodri last season? The drop off was HUGE. I’m a City fan and I genuinely believe our number 1 priority should be a backup 6 who can also play as an 8, like Dougy said. Kalvin Phillips clearly didn’t have the sort of “football IQ” that Pep looks for but nothings to say Stiller won’t. Bruno Guimares would be my first pick but with his release clause expiring soon it feels increasingly unlikely to happen

Funny that when you lose one of the worlds best players in your most important position the team plays worse. I dont think theres a realistic name out their to fill the whole if rodri does get injured again and when in need of a rest kovacic should do better than any young option. Also think stiller is a weird choice when you have perrone about the same age already getting loaned out to come through eventually

Martinez missed a long period with a foot break and then suffered an impact injury which hurt his knee after he came back. He is going to be fully fit for all the coming season and does not have “a patchy injury record” in the usual sense.

My 30(ish) million signing for City would actually be Feyenords Geertruida. I’m not sure how much longer Walker has left, so I think a young replacement right back makes sense. Geertruida perfectly suites Guadiola because of his flexibility, he can play RB, CB or even fill in as a CDM. Arne Slot used him primarily as an inverted RB which suites Peps system beautifully, means in possession he can help support Rodri in midfield and create the box.

I’ve been yelling and screaming about how good Ampadu is, as a wales and Chelsea fan, for YEARS. I hated his permanent move. I truly lost faith in Tuchel when he loaned him out after a good preseason and then loaned in Zakaria. That’s a real issue with Tuchel, his squad building and talent ID is poor.

Re De Ligt I have no clue why alot of fans or even channels like this (the ginger guy is wondering why he didnt start more games last season lol? but yet looking it his tablet it has on the stats about the season but nothing about injuries ) give opinions on players without doing research m De ligt has missed 60 games through injury since 2020, 20 of those games were missed last season.... it will literally be Mount 2.0 if united go for him and would show nothing has changed a the club as they would clearly havent done their due diligence. The biggest question to ask Bayern is why are you they selling him in the first place.

They want to reduce salary costs in general 20% arround 2025 target. Now they have trigger the release clause from Ito from Stuttgart also they want sign Tah from Leverkusen. The fans are not happy but Bayern want to sell De Ligt if it's possible. Davies, Mazraoui, Gnabry, Coman, Goretzka, Kimmich, Upamecano they could be leave the club if the offers fit what Bayern expects. Currently they buy players like Ito to made a statement for the defenders to leave...same like buying Michael Olise should be probably force Gnabry out.

He's meant to be on £300-350k per week. Can't see any team in the Premier League willing to pay that unless Man Utd subsidise at least half of his wages. Managers like Howe, Postecogleu and Arteta have all said that player personality are important so can't see any of the top half teams wanting him, being able to afford him or him wanting to go there. I could see maybe him on loan at West Ham or something but even that would be a stretch

Probably the same as two right footed CBs, it's not ideal but plenty of teams seem to manage. It's just weirder to see two left-footers because they're so much rarer than right-footers.

Terrible idea. Just brought in Veliz last summer for €15m who is only 5 months older than this Barca kid. There are also a few intriguing academy prospects at the position (Scarlett, Donley, Lankshear), with Parrott looking like it is time for a permanent move away. Also just signed a highly rated 16 year old striker today too.

Arsenal need a left wing back. Kiwior, Zinchenko are simple average and not on real high level compare this to the other side with Ben White. UCL season with Kiwior or Tomiyasu you could see the huge lack of quality on the left side. If Arsenal want to proceed they need a next level solution.
