This is the first video I've watched that actually made me want the Capo. I've seen a bunch of others but none of them have really gone through a bunch of different flavors that it's capable of. Unfortunately, now I want it. I recently recorded an album which cemented that the SVT is not a sound I like for what I do (I did like a V4 for my "default" sound and a B-15 reissue for some specialty sounds), but the Capo is definitely more of what I want to sound like. Please keep putting this stuff out, Philip, because this is exactly what I go to KZfaq for.

I want to thank you guys for this review, slash shootout. I recently bought the Bass Rig and right after I did people started talking about the Capo and I was worried I’d mad a mistake. I think for my applications the Bass Rig is going to suit my needs just fine. Thanks again.

I’m so glad you did this. I’ve had my eye on the capo for a while but there weren’t any great bass demos on it. Thinking about replacing my tone hammer with one.
