One Beach Street has been a timeshare, with some full ownership, since its construction over 20 years ago. Now that it is being sold as fractional, what happened to the owners of their timeshare units?

Hi, I just learned that the previous time share owners were transferred over to the time share company’s other property in the South Bay PlayaDelSol which is still a time share

It's not a time share. You get the exact same property every year at the same time. You can also sell it to someone else.

Yes, but any requested date maybe unavailable without further investment.

Sherry, fractional ownership means that you are buying a portion of the property. If you were to purchase the whole property it would cost you close to $300,000 USD, but for just under $20,000 you can purchase 1/13 the of it and have exclusive use of it for a month. This is quite common in real estate as well as in yachts and jets.

Is this $18,000 for one years least or to buy a cheap condo? Be more specific? Not interested in time sharing properties.

Hi, you can buy a fraction of a condo for as low as approximately $18,000 usd. It’s not a time share. As a fractional buyer at One Beach Street, you would be a deeded owner for the month
