Quick thing because you were surprised how for example this mutated witch or the villager could take so much hits from your battleaxe. They don't have that much HP but the Battleaxe is a two handed weapon. If you use it with a shield you deal much less damage with it.

battleaxe is a two handed weapon so for extra dmg you need to have nothing in your other hand

yo dude some spartan weapons go slower with something in your offhand (shield, torches, ect) some weapons i know do this is the battleaxe, hammers, greatsword, and i think spear.
