💖💖 Fantastic video thanks for the tutorial. Love it. Just bought similar panels from same designer. A tip for you when cutting your dark strips for the outer section. If you layer your fabric strips wrong sides together and cut your segments you will get a left and a right section. Less cutting. Your welcome. 🤩🙂

Maybe I am wrong, seems you are some what of a beginner. You are confident squared it up nicely. No stuffy precision which can be a turn off to imperfect quilters such as myself. It is emotional escape for me. I have been away emotional reasons. You have inspired me. It seemed in your 6 layers you girl was cut in strips? Did I see that correctly? If so seems you need 7 pannels. One being the fairy? I am editing my coment. Spoke prematurely. You are not a beginner.! You are my kind of quilter. 🙃 Glad I found you.

Great tutorial! Really helps with pointers on how to attach the Hex's to the panel. One day I hope to make an OBW Panel quilt and will be using this video as a reference. Your explanations are very thorough. Just finished the first two videos for free motion quilting. Practicing on paper helps tremendously. I can now draw a round circle as well as the other shapes you featured. Translating it to fabric takes a lot of practice which I’m working on. Thank you for your precise instructions.

You can find recipes online for homemade basting spray, using vodka for the alcohol desiccant. They are non-toxic while spraying, and much cheaper. There is also a diagonal seam tape you can put on your machine bed with lines on it for lining up your fabrics for sewing diagonal seams, so you don't need to mark the diagonals.

Alain, i have a question about fabric you used: is it enough for this huge quilt fabric from all 6 panels? I started my own, not so big and see that I have to add extra fabric. In your quilt I noticed that light border is from the same fabric as used on some blocks. Please, advise. One more, then I started to watch your old videos and recognized that it was you only by bolts of the fabric on the floor. Of course, current looking is so intelligent.

This is beautiful and your explanations are easy to understand and follow. However, I would have left the hexagons for top and bottom around the panel alone. To my eye the center panel doesn’t “flow”, it just looks set in.

What is the size of a single panel? 22x18”? Recently bought a 36”x42” panel. How many more do I need for a quilt?
