I was forced to wear a skirt all the time as a teen boy from age 13-18. When we moved to a new area for my dads job the local boys school there had been founded by a bunch of Scottish men and the uniform had a compulsory kilt, socks and jumper and tie with black schools. It was a private school but had a reputation as one of the best schools in the country so my parents were like - your going end of story. My parents forced me into the school, I literally cried when I saw the uniform was a skirt. The hilarious thing though was that the girls school close by switched their uniform from skirts to trousers after the girls campaigned for it so you literally had the unbelievable sight of girls in school uniform trousers and the lads in school uniform skirts walking and cycling to and from school. When the boys campaigned to switch the skirt to trousers though they were told no chance wear or get out they are your only options haha! After a while I used to just bring a pair of trackies with me and the second Id be outside the school gate they would go straight on. The most annoying part to wearing one for me was sport like kicking a football about before class or on lunch break or just cycling to school especially on a windy day the skirt would be all over the place - it was clean underwear everyday cos people at some stage would get the full picture of everything especially cycling. Also they were freezing in winter and in summer your legs would stick to the chairs which was annoying. There isn't enough money in the world that anyone could pay me to wear a skirt hahaha!

i like skirts and i wear them for six years.

Skirts for men desperately need to become a thing. I'm aware of the existence of kilts, lavalavas and other such cultural garments, but I'm talking about just generic skirts that one could buy from the menswear department of their choice. With the Earth growing ever warmer and the summers growing ever hotter pants are becoming less and less bearable. Skirts on the other hand sway as you walk, creating an automatic self-powered fan that keeps your lower regions cool as you walk, in addition to the heat regulation that naturally comes with the bottom being open, making for an infinitely more comfortable experience in the summer heat. The sooner men realize this and people stop batting eyes at males in skirts the better off society will be. I'm not suggesting everyone walk around in pretty floral-print skirts, I'm thinking of skirts in solid black, brown or whatever colors men's pants normally come in, the only difference is they're skirts instead of pants. Pockets as deep as those found on trousers would also be nice. Pants do the job fine in the cooler months, but I would love to be able to wear skirts on sweltering days without incurring the judgemental wrath of traditionalists.
