Guatemala City is very fun to walk around, especially in the historic zone (zone 1). Everyone said Guatemala City was too dangerous for me to visit but I decided to go anyway to prove everyone wrong. Sure, there were some parts to avoid, but if you avoid those places during the day you can get a lot out of Guatemala City

Thank you 🙏 for visiting my country amigo. I’ve always said Guatemala is sooo underrated, sad to hear there are people who say: don’t visit Guatemala, not even knowing how it is and looks like. The city is beautiful and it packs so much history and culture. Wherever you go there is history and culture. Hope you enjoy and comeback soon there is still a lot you need to explore and love. Cuatro Grados Norte is a cool neighborhood in Zone 4. Also 6 Avenuda in Zone 2 is nice. Zone 2 also has El Mapa en Relieve which is well worth a visit.

I’m a seasoned backpacker and been in Guatemala. Well done!! Good coverage of GC! You looked and sound very geniune and comfortable with yourself and your environment - good for you!! As a suggestion for your future videos, please consider limit filming yourself while walking and instead show as much as surroundings. Thanks for sharing your experience. . It makes for better content, quality, and it overall just more entertaining as you can look at things smoother. I visited in March 2024. I also visited Antigua and the volcanoes of Pacaya, Acatenango, and Fuego. What were your experiences in Guatemala? Positive ones as well?

The Central Park of Quetzaltenango, it has old buildings you’d be delighted to check them out, of course if you’re a huge fan of architecture. Fuentes Georginas, there a several coffee shops and bakeries, malls, volcano hiking, cerro el baúl, I’m from Quetzaltenango and It be a pleasure to show you Central Park.

It surprised me. I enjoyed it much more than I expected! People say to avoid it, but I disagree, I had fun. I also visited Antigua, and hiked Pacaya, Acatenango, and Fuego. What plans do you have for Guatemala?

@@viajay Guatemala is WAYYY cheaper than El Salvador. I was just in El Salvador too. The price difference was crazy. Personally, I loved San Salvador so much that I would rather stay in San Salvador and pay more than be in Guatemala City. Are you planning on visiting El Salvador too?

@viajay so many great things. I would recommend San Salvador, Planes de Renderos, Lake Ilopango, Olocuilta, El Tunco, and more! And I would love to get to Colombia! I have heard great things! Any specific cities you would recommend? I would say to see Cartagena, Bogota, Medellin, and the cocaine hippos lol
