I show you the main sights that I believe should make it into your itinerary for a day in Santiago de Chile and obviously what to do in Santiago de Chile, what to see in Chile, where to eat in Santiago etc.
This is a huge city with SO much to do and I am aware of the attractions that I didn't cover, but once again - this is how I believe a day here should be spent without rushing around between activities. Notes:
I got here by plane from Buenos Aires and the airport in Santiago is exceptionally clean and with no queues when I landed. They asked us to fill out an online form before landing but it was never checked by the staff.
The local currency is the Chilean peso, the exchange rate with the US Dollar is currently 1000.
The weather here is often cloudy and cool so remember to bring a jacket.
It's safe in the central area at daytime but you still need to be vigilant and try not to walk around alone at night.
Matsuri in the Mandarin Oriental hotel was fantastic and if you'd like other dinner options, I would recommend CasaLuz in Barrio Italia, Palacio de la Chorillana in Barrio Bellavista and Chipe in Barrio Bellavista.

The views of the city from Cerro San Cristobal look spectacular even on a cloudy day! Santiago looks impressive I have to say. I'll need to check it out someday! Great video!

Thanks ! Yes agreed , even when the weather isn’t ideal it’s still worth it. In one of the next videos I go up to sky costanera for a clear sunset and that’s stunning

Понял! Я уже больше года назад пытался пробовать улучшать свои знания, я же учил его в колледже и в жизни постоянно слышу и вижу надписи. Проблема в том, что из-за возраста мне сложно запоминать новые слова и особенно всякие падежи, склонения и другие правила.📚📑 Но учить хочется и я совсем понемногу и изредка что-то новое запоминаю!

If you are willing to walk a little farther from the popular locations you can find cheaper places to eat, also never use cabs, use uber or public transportation instead, cab drivers usually rip off foreign visitors.

I used both cabs and Ubers and was a great experience , but maybe also because we speak Spanish :) and yes I also tried some places to eat outside the center and it was also superb ! The food in general was great :) thanks for watching !
