Күн бұрынKnown as the "Pearl of the Greeks", Syracuse (Italian: Siracusa) lies on the east coast of Sicily and, as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, fascinates with its cultural diversity from 2,700 years of history. In antiquity, Syracuse was one of the most powerful and glamorous metropolises in the Mediterranean world; today, with 123,000 inhabitants, it is a lively provincial city.
The fantastic location in the south-east of Sicily with the offshore island of Ortygia and the numerous sights and ancient excavations from thousands of years of history make Syracuse a special Sicilian attraction. The most important sights are located on Ortygia and form a picturesque ambience amidst Greek, Roman and Baroque architecture - a very worth seeing and unique mixture of different eras.
In my video, I have focused on the urban area and in particular on the wonderful old town centre on the island of Ortygia. Those who know me and my videos know that I am very enthusiastic about old towns. And here, too, I was very fascinated by the old town and the atmosphere. I am happy if I can transfer a little of this fascination and enthusiasm to you when you watch my video.

Ya he tomado mi tiempo y he visto con tranquilidad este nuevo trabajo. En los siguientes tiempos del video: "2 : 14" "2 : 23" y "3 : 43" realizaste unos planos que me gustan mucho, yo los llamo inmersión, que en el fondo es como si el espectador estuviera dentro del video. En el minuto "3 : 43" realizas 5 planos consecutivos muy bien logrados. En muchos planos alcanzas plenitud en velocidad de rotación de tu cámara y el ritmo de la música. Aunque se diga que un paneo o un tilt son movimientos de cámara muy simples, creo que es un recurso que siendo bien manejado, tiene mucho que aportar. Claro que nos sigues sorprendiendo y estas palabras me nacen desde el alma y con mucha sinceridad mi consideración y respeto por vuestro trabajo, ya que en el fondo, es un trozo de tu vida que estás plasmando en un video y nos muestras a todos nosotros "cómo es un día en tal o cual lugar".....que ese es tu característica en tu canal de KZfaq. Gracias por darme ánimo a seguir con mi trabajo, son un ejemplo para mi cada uno de tus videos y cada vez falta menos para alcanzar metas y logros y retomar mis grabaciones. Saludos Mike.

Yes, you got it exactly right, with these tracking shots I tried to bring the viewer into the scene, because I feel they create a realistic depth effect, almost a bit like 3D. Good morning and thank you for your comment. I'm glad you like the video. 😊 I decided not to show the Archaeological Park because I wanted to focus on the city, especially the old town. When I told my friends that I wanted to go to Syracuse, they only thought of the Archaeological Park. They were not aware that Syracuse is also a beautiful city worth visiting. And so the idea came up that I show the city in my video. I did something similar with Pisa, in one episode I only showed the city, without the famous leaning tower. I like that because sometimes a famous sight outshines everything, although many other things are also very beautiful, but are then often forgotten. Many many greetings to you! 🤗🍀
