i cant lie, i did cry at multiple points when i saw les miz, but, i didn’t expect anything except for do you hear the people sing to properly get me, but something about this song struck something within me and i absolutely sobbed because i simply could not believe how indescribably incredible this song was, wow. i am completely and totally convinced this song is the pinnacle of musical theatre.

One thing I love about this is that you can totally hear Michael and Alfie over everyone else at the final “One Day Mooorrreee” 1:59 if you know what notes to listen for. It’s insane how powerful their voices can be 😊 I love them both so much

Got to see the concert live a couple of years ago. I was basically a goosebump for the entire show. Ball and Boe are unbelievable, and live, it just pins you to the back wall. Also, Matt Lucas got a standing ovation that lasted about five minutes after Master of the House. Even he looked overwhelmed. One of the greatest stage shows of all time.

Look up bbc documentary on the making of West Side Story he sang Tony part. That docu was where I first heard his voice and I have been down the U.tube rabbit hole listening to his work ever since😁
