Since you will be living in Samal and most people speak visaya, I think it’s okay to learn visaya first. A lot of Filipinos would say learn Tagalog because it is the national language and most Filipinos understand it and also they use it in school together with English.😊

Valentina, while living in the 🇵🇭Philippines, you and Sergei focus on learning to communicate (speak, read, and write) properly in English! 👍 Filipinos can understand and/or have ways to understand English language. That is, if the foreigners can speak to them in English properly!!! 😍👍 Valentina, playing beach volleyball is always fun! 😍 And that will also keep you physically fit... and interact with the locals and meet new friends. 🌞💪Try playing beach volleyball, for a start, with your kids and fellow Russians to boost your self-confidence! 👍🇷🇺🇵🇭💞

hi! Val, good afternoon.. I have notice why your family is using fork only when eating instead of spoon & fork.. I just wonder.. Because the right way to do when eating is by using spoon and fork.. Your family are in love with different kind of fruits.. You guys just like to dig on it right away just like you all did to Langka/Jackfruit.. 😊 The sound that you heard is coming from a bullfrog 🐸.. It usually makes a noise after it rains even at night & sometimes crickets 🦗.. I notice your youngest son costa, looks just like you.. I think he got your eyes.. Your eldest son i think he got his look on his Dad.. Thank you! for loving filipino dishes & fruits.. God bless! Val & family.. 🙂🙏🏻❤️ 🇵🇭❤️🇷🇺

I think Tagalog is more useful because most Filipinos understand it even if they don’t speak it. I grew up in Pampanga and we speak a different language which is Kapangpangan. Somehow I also learned and speak Tagalog while growing up. Anyway, you are so lucky for getting to eat all the exotic fruits there. I had jackfruit before but I’ve never had durian so I don’t know how it tastes. Watching from California. Love your channel!

Try learning how to cook it, ask the lady in your favorite karinderia to teach you or show you how to cook it. By the way, there really is no war or animosity between Tagalog speaking Filipino and Bisayan people. Maybe competition, but that's all. Filipinos may joke about each others dialect out of humor or make fun of each other but with no malice😅

try avocado with powdered milk (i recomend BearBrand), cut the avocado in half and scoop out the insides, and then put it in bowl and squash and mix it with the powder milk (dont squash it too much because it becomes too slimy texture if squashed and mixed too much) you can chill it first in the fridge or eat rightaway. That recipe is my favorite since I was 10 yrs old. I am sure your kids will love it too.

I think what he might mean is that Bisaya people has more advantage than Tagalog speakers only because the Bisaya speakers knows both languages but not vice versa since Tagalog is taught in all schools in PH as it is the National Language. Filipino is one of the subjects in schools where Tagalog grammar & vocabulary is also taught. When ur children goes to school you can learn with them thru their Filipino textbook you'll see...
