Danish movie "The hunt"(Jagten) 2012, Mads Mikkelsen in the lead role In 2014, was nominated for an Academy Awards in the category of best foreign film.

@@TheMovieJourney also, back then, we did not watch films while hiding behind a shield of irony ..we were not shielded..we watched films through a lens of absolute sincerity ..now, we persecute artistic sincerity by making an ironic "joke"

I saw this many years ago and fell in love with the Chief. Did you also recognize Christopher Lloyd, Vincent Schiavelli, Scatman Crothers? A lot of great actors here in their younger years. Nurse Ratchet became the scapegoat of all horrific nurses with this performance. Unforgettable film.

Wow, just found your channel, great commentary from you guys. I'd love to see you do more classics from the 70s (or ANY period. You can go back to the silents for all I care, there are great movies from every year movies have been around.) Pacino in "Dog Day Afternoon", or Gene Hackman in "The Conversation", or "Deliverance", "Bonnie And Clyde", "Midnight Cowboy", "The Graduate", "Carnal Knowledge"......"Chinatown"......"Alfie", Michael Caine's breakthrough role, a must see!

Wow, you have amazing taste in movies. Just about every film you named I would consider one of my favorite films of all time. The Graduate, Dog Day Afternoon, Midnight Cowboy, and Carnal Knowledge are all in my top 25 movies and the rest are not too far behind.

@@harryholmes8624 Nice! Let's hope reactors start hitting that list because to not have those films (and others) under your belt is to simply not know movies, period. All of those 70s films are directly influential on what goes on now so it's not like watching something from the 30s (another time period I love) and straining to make a connection.
