At 5:07 shit gets real. These videos are really good, like our own mini HBO Hard Knocks series. I really like Bates now, he is down there on the field looking into the players eyes and bouncing emotion off them. Unlike previous coordinators who were in some booth and had no idea what the true feeling was like on the sideline. Bates is a win for us and if he keeps putting fourth a good game plan and developing Darnold we will be a really good team going forward. Every week we will get a little better and Macc has the capital to really add even more talent to our team. Things are finally looking good for us Jet fans (And the Jet players). And oh yeah... NEW UNIFROMS NEXT YEAR! Talk about perfect timing. We got a new culture and we are trending up and we will soon have a totally new look to celebrate our new identity. I hope they keep green and white and add some jet silver in there or something. JET UP!!!

He predicted his tough start....but honestly, I laughed when he threw the pick...I had no fear that he would comeback from that. He's not the down and out Mark Sanchez, or the over confident Geno Smith. He's the even keel, tough-minded, former linebacker, Sam Darnold. So glad we got our guy

Calm down on Darnold. They're running an incredibly simple offense to make it easy for him. Mostly short check downs. And beating up on Detroit is like picking on the special needs kids in school. Sam was a turnover king at USC. I expect he will throw a bucket more picks this season and finish with something like 20 TDs & 15 interceptions. A talent with a big future but pump the brakes - he's no hall of famer at this point.
